    Human Resource And Administrative Assistant

    To provide administrative, logistics and human resource functions of TLM-Nigeria.

    Principal Responsibilities:

    • Support the HFA in the management and administrative functions of NCO and States Projects.
    • Support the HFA in the logistics of NCO and States Projects in areas of Events, Supplies, Inventory and Maintenance.
    • Support the HFA in the Personnel management of NCO and States Projects.

    Main Tasks:

    Administrative task:

    • Support the HFA in the day-to-day operations in National Coordination Office (NCO) by ensuring that all inputs such as communications and equipment are at their optimum performance.
    • Support the HFA in the organization of meetings such as Project leaders meeting, Staff Conferences, International meetings, etc.
    • Manage the daily, weekly and monthly appointment schedule of the National Director.
    • Manage the National Director’s local and international travels and proactively coordinate the preplanning with internal functions involved.
    • Supervise and oversees the security aspect of National Coordination Office.
    • Take minutes of meetings and ensure distribution of meeting to appropriate quarters.
    • Manage TLMN official e-mail by screening and prioritizing electronic mail, communications call from internal and external sources.
    • Schedule meetings and coordinate appointment requests in line with the National Director’s instructions.
    • Daily supervision of junior staff to ensure compliance and optimum performance of duties.
    • Provision and general maintenance of office equipment, tools and timely repair of faulty equipment. Logistics task:
    • Maintain stock and order general office supplies (Refreshments, stationery and cleaning).
    • Participate in systems review of TLMN projects and NCO as directed.
    • Assist in the procurement of Capital Items, drugs, literature and any other resources or materials sourced locally or internationally for NCO or field use

    • Support the HFA in the maintenance of TLM properties in the office and field.
    • Organize travel itinerary include hotel accommodation and other logistics for visiting guests within the country and international guests.

    • Support the national Director in dealing with all aspects of matters concerning personnel including:
    • Assist staff in facilitating visas for travel and arranging invitation letters for international visitors.
    • Prepare letter of appointments, update/renewal of contract and job descriptions for staff.
    • Processing requests for leave by staff.
    • Assists as required in staff recruitment process in areas of advertisement for job openings, inviting candidates for interview, and induction of selected candidates.
    • Send out Appraisal form and collate for National Director’s attention at the end of each year.
    • Constant update of staff files and efficient filing system of official documents for easy retrieval and referencing.
    • Perform other duties as required.

    Counsellor

    The Counselor will join our team and help our patients live better lives by helping them develop problem-solving skills to address mental health issues. He/ she is responsible for building relationships with patients by listening and assisting them in developing habits that improve their lives and overcome stress, anxiety, and behavioral disorders. Ultimately, he/she will work directly with patients to understand and address their anxiety and emotional needs to help them live healthier lives.

    The incumbent is responsible for:

    • Providing counseling services to individuals and families of people living with a disability.
    • Record patient information and manage confidential files.
    • Conducting psychological evaluations of patients to diagnose mental illness.
    • Identifying potential risks in patients’ lives that could lead to emotional problems.

    Projects Assistant

    Under the direct supervision of the Senior Programme Officer based at the country office in Abuja, the Project Assistants will perform tasks such as coordinating and supporting the implementation of all TLMN projects at NCO, State and community levels. The Project Assistants will be based in Abuja and will work closely with Government staff, community groups and DPOs including PIACs, CMCs, JONAPWD, IDEA, in planning and implementation of project activities according to TLMN project cycle management framework.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Implementation and Monitoring of Project activities and reporting

    • The field officer ensures effective planning, implementation, monitoring and follow-up of the TLM-Nigeria programs in the state.
    • Under the supervision of the Senior Programme Officer, the Programme Assistant maintains a comprehensive understanding of the health and development needs in his/her State of Responsibility (SOR) through ensuring continuous collection, analysis and synthesis of relevant information.
    • Participates in assessments, analysis, reviews and evaluation of health and development issues to make relevant proposals that are based on TLM-Nigeria priorities and Country Strategy.
    • Facilitate joint planning and review meetings with the participating Beneficiaries.
    • Maintain appropriate data on project implementation as per the project monitoring and evaluation plan.
    • Compile and submit quarterly activity report and any other report as may be required by the Senior Programme Officer. Mobilize Community towards project activities.
    • Create awareness creation on project goal, objectives and expected outputs.
    • Facilitate development of community structures for managing the implementation of project activities.
    • Facilitate recruitment and training of Community Based Resource Persons and Beneficiaries.

    Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning Assistant

    • Work within the programs unit to introduce and monitor the implementation of all projects in TLMN including GFATM and special projects to ensure efficient and effective M&E of all project activities.
    • Assist in preparing periodic programmatic reports on behalf of TLMN according to donor’s guidelines

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Assist in producing monthly, quarterly and annual M&E reports based on agreed indicators that will guide decision-making and program implementation. - Assist in the compilation of half-year and annual reports of project data and reports for submission to TLMI and other partners.
    • Collect, collate, analyze and interpret TB, TB/HIV, and leprosy data according to national guidelines.
    • Undertake periodic monitoring and technical support visit to states.
    • Assist to Support the design and implementation of baseline/midline/end-term and other surveys as well as conduct project reviews according to the approved work plan.
    • Work with partners to ensure the collection of relevant and appropriate data needed for an effective M&E system which will be utilized in the monitoring of strengths, weaknesses, and gaps in existing programs and services required for reporting.
    • Contribute to TLMN-wide organizational learning by disseminating data, reports, and lessons learned provided by field staff and state partners 
    • Assist to develop and strengthen monitoring, inspection and evaluation procedures.
