    Financial Reporting Accountant

    This role means you are responsible for keeping and interpreting financial records. You will cover a wide range of finance-related tasks, either for individual stakeholders or for the wider business. 

    You will play a vital role in supporting the business because your responsibility will track income and expenditures, ensure statutory compliance, and provide investors, management, and government with quantitative financial information which can be used in making business decisions. 

    What You Will Be Doing:  

    • Collecting and analyzing financial data, ensuring that all company reporting (monthly and annually) complies with IFRS reporting regulations and guidelines. 
    • Researching accounting rules and regulations and making recommendations regarding company policy.
    • Perform troubleshoot on all financial reports, complete internal and external audits, identify trends to determine improvement plans.
    • Review monthly journals and ensure accuracy of figures posted.
    • Perform accounting controls by executing policies and manage assigned balance sheet accounts, perform account reconciliations, and make necessary corrections. 
    • Finance Gate Keeper of the ERP and ensuring sanctity of the Chart of Accounts. 
    • Prepare annual Budgets of the company.
    • Prepare quarterly forecasts of the company.
    • Prepare weekly and monthly budgetary control.
    • Conduct cost/benefit and other types of analyses.
    • Any other Ad-hoc activities assigned by the Head of Finance Operations or CFO.  

    What You Need For This Role:  

    • Bachelor’s degree in any numerate or Social Science course.
    • Professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is a must. 
    • At least 5 years’ cognate experience in Telecoms, Banking, FMCG or relevant company. 
    • Flexibility in thinking and pragmatic problem-solving skills.
    • Working knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office at an advanced level.
    • Ability to effectively communicate in person and in writing with C-Level individuals. 
    • Time and Priority Management Skills. 
    • Sound understanding of Accounting Principles and relevant financial reporting standards (FRC, IFRS).

    Tax Accountant

    The Tax Accountant plays a vital role in managing the overall tax function for the Kingdom in Nigeria. The role is charged with analyzing financial information, to meet changes, and comply with all Nigerian tax regulations and laws.

    What You Will Be Doing:

    • Managing the day-to-day running of the tax function
    • Providing tax advisory to the business on day-to-day basis and specific business needs.
    • Advising the business on latest developments in the Nigerian tax space.
    • Managing the monthly computation and remittance of statutory taxes (PAYE, WHT, VAT & CIT) for each month-end closing processes.
    • Ensuring that accurate WHT and VAT (as appropriate) are deducted on payments made to vendors and are remitted as at when due.
    • Ensuring PAYE returns are filed annually in compliance with the law.
    • Representing the business as may be required in all tax audit meetings (FIRS or the States’ Revenue Services)
    • Liaising with tax consultants and develop scope of work to be adhered to under a standard service level agreement (SLA).
    • Designing and documenting processes and procedures for the Tax function.
    • Reviewing and submission of annual TP returns in line with changes in business processes, standards, and structure.
    • Ensuring proper follow up with the tax consultants to close open tax issues in a manner favorable to the company.

    What You Need For This Role:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or relevant field
    • Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, and CITN membership)
    • At least 3 years’ cognate experience in an Accounting or Tax Function
    • Flexibility in thinking and pragmatic problem-solving skills

    Head of Marketing

    The "Head of Dept." management title and level means you will be responsible for the leadership and management (results, people, culture) of a department or function which will typically be a global team. You will be managing major program/processes and be accountable for the performance and results. You will be responsible for decisions that may impact multiple departments and are guide using your expertise and precedents.

    • Define objectives for the Marketing function in collaboration with the members of the leadership team and key stakeholders of the organization.

    Senior 3D Motions Graphic Designer

    The "Senior" title and level will mean that your work will tend to be determined with your direct manager with intermittent guidance from your team and peers. Your work will need refinement by your manager and/or team periodically so that we can optimise the output and drive continuous improvement. You should identify opportunities to support and further develop your overall teams capability and dynamics. This can therefore benefit cross-functional engagement both within the team and across the business unit with peers and managers. 
    Your work should understand the customer needs as it aligns to the overall mission. Whilst a lot of work will be routine and finite you should anticipate direct short term effects to customer needs and look to resolve these.     • Working directly alongside the Head of Creative Design as support for the day-to-day design and delivery of creative executions for the KingMakers brands. 
    • Production of short and long form videos across social media (specifically Facebook, Instagram and Twitter) 
    • Supporting creative leaders by participating in early campaign ideation and brainstorming
    • Developing scripts including storyboards
    • Creating a video and motion graphic calendar in partnership with the content team around key Football events throughout the season/year
    • Provide graphic design and layout support as part of the Graphics Department
    • Plan and liaise during all delivery stages for sign-off with Head of Design 

    What You Need for This Role:  

    • Outstanding, demonstrable skills in motion design
    • Solid portfolio showcasing a range of video, graphics and motion animations demonstrating your ability to create engaging content
    • Strong understanding about how animation captures the attention on social media and how it can be used across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat
    • Strong design, drawing, color composition, and conceptual ideation abilities with brand consistency throughout
    • Advanced 3D design, software and compositing knowledge within a working environment
    • Expertise and experience of application in Adobe After Effects and Premiere as well as Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere, demonstrated by a solid and creative portfolio
    • Highly skilled in use of Cinema 4D software and V-Ray plugins

    What You Need for This Role:  

    • Proven Experience as a Talent Acquisition, a recruiter or similar role. 
    • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
    • Knowledge of the latest tools and technologies in the recruiting space.  
    • Thorough understanding of end-to-end recruitment process in a rapidly scaling organization. 
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • A keen understanding of the differences between multiple roles within Kingmakers.
    • A passion for data and numbers. A strong analytical mindset.
