    Pediatrician

    Position Overview

    • We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pediatrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality healthcare to children and adolescents, possess excellent communication skills, and be committed to delivering compassionate care to patients and their families.

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations and assessments of pediatric patients.
    • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and developmental issues.
    • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients, including prescribing medications, therapies, and other interventions.
    • Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
    • Educate patients and their families about health maintenance, disease prevention, and management of pediatric conditions.
    • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, specialists, and therapists, to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.

    Qualifications

    • Valid license to practice medicine from the Nigerian Medical and Dental Association.
    • Certification by the Nigerian Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (NPMCN) or West African College of Physicians (WACP) in Pediatrics or as a Consultant, as applicable.
    • Excellent hand-eye coordination, stamina, and empathy for patients.

    General Surgeon

    Job Role

    • This role is responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to patients in the hospital.

    What you will be doing

    • Perform surgical procedures including, but not limited to Laparotomies, Appendectomies, Herniorrhaphies, Herniotomy, Cholecystectomy, Mastectomy, Thyroidectomy, Hemorrhoidectomy, and other General surgery procedures.
    • Evaluate patients' medical histories, diagnose illnesses, determine treatment plans, and provide pre- and post-operative care.
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
    • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
    • Stay updated with advancements in surgical techniques, technologies, and best practices.

    Must Have Skills

    • Medical Degree from an accredited institution and completion of a General Surgery residency program.
    • Minimum of 5 years cognate surgical experience.
    • Board certification in General Surgery.
    • license to practice medicine from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria and must hold a specialist qualification with Fellow National Postgraduate College of Surgery, Fellow of the West African College of Surgeons, or Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons
    • Proven experience performing a wide range of general surgical procedures.
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
    • Must show evidence of competence in the management of general surgery and evidence of active participation in surgical research i.e publications and journal

    Good to have:

    • Knowledge of Clinical Surgery and other specialist areas of medical practice such as Oncology, Pathology, Radiology and Pediatrics, Traumatology, Neurosurgery, Cardiothoracic Medicine.
    • Working knowledge of global quality assurance, clinical audit principles and processes and must exhibit a commitment towards continuous quality improvement.
