    Project Finance Advisor

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking a highly experienced, analytical, and commercially minded Project Finance Advisor to provide strategic financial leadership for hotel development and operational projects.
    • The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating project feasibility, developing financial models, managing project budgets, advising on investment decisions, and ensuring the financial viability of projects from conception through completion.
    • The ideal candidate will possess strong financial analysis, project finance, and investment advisory skills, with the ability to  work closely with executive management, investors, lenders, consultants, and project teams to deliver financially sustainable projects.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide strategic financial advisory services on hotel development and capital projects.
    • Conduct financial feasibility studies, investment appraisals, and project viability assessments.
    • Develop, review, and maintain detailed financial models to support project planning and investment decisions.
    • Prepare project budgets, cash flow forecasts, and financial projections.
    • Advise management on financing options, capital structure, and funding strategies.
    • Monitor project costs, financial performance, and budget utilization to ensure financial discipline.
    • Identify financial risks associated with projects and recommend practical mitigation strategies.

    • Monitor project timelines and financial milestones, providing regular progress reports to management.
    • Recommend cost optimization initiatives without compromising project quality or operational efficiency.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
    • A Master’s degree (MBA, MSc Finance, or related field) will be an added advantage.
    • Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CFA, CIMA, or equivalent is highly desirable.
    • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in project finance, corporate finance, investment analysis, financial advisory, or a related role.
    • Experience within the hospitality, real estate, infrastructure, or construction sector is highly preferred.
    • Strong knowledge of financial modelling, project appraisal techniques, budgeting, forecasting, and investment analysis.
    • Excellent understanding of debt financing, equity financing, and capital structuring.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial modelling and reporting tools.
    • Strong analytical, presentation, negotiation, and report-writing skills.
