    Midwife / Staff Nurse

    JobDescription

    • The Staff Nurse or Midwife is responsible for providing safe, compassionate, and high quality patient care in accordance with hospital standards and nursing protocols.

    Responsibilities

    • Assisting in patient assessment, treatment, documentation, and overall clinical coordination to ensure efficiency, patient satisfaction, and adherence to professional ethics.
    • Administer medications and treatments strictly as prescribed by the doctor, adhering to the Six Rights of Drug Administration.
    • Maintain accurate and real-time documentation in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and nursing charts.
    • Monitor patients’ conditions and promptly report any abnormal findings to the doctor.
    • Prepare wards and ensure patient readiness for admission, surgery, and discharge.
    • Assist in pre-operative and post-operative patient management, ensuring all necessary equipment and materials are available and functional.
    • Provide patient education on medications, discharge instructions, and follow-up appointments.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Registered Nurse (RN) with valid licenses.
    • Registered Midwife (RM) is an added advantage
    • Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in a hospital with a strong background in midwifery.
    • Sound knowledge of nursing procedures and patient care standards.
    • Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
    • Demonstrated empathy, professionalism, and commitment to patient-centered care.

    Accounts Officer

    Job Description
    We are on the hunt for a highly analytical and qualified Accounts Officer to join our team. In this pivotal position, your duties will include the following:

    • Posting standard journal entries,
    • Managing and reconciling Health Management Organization (HMO) claims and receivables,
    • Reconciling payables and bank activities,
    • Monitoring financial transactions,
    • Assisting with budgets,
    • Participating in audits, and serving as the primary liaison between the hospital and HMO partners to ensure prompt and accurate payments.

    Qualifications

    • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting or Finance with 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role.
    • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
    • Proven experience in HMO claims management, reconciliation, and liaison within a healthcare setting is essential.

    Requirements

    • To succeed in this role, you must demonstrate in-depth knowledge of financial policies, procedures, and systems.
    • In addition to being an excellent communicator, our ideal candidate must be a detailed person with outstanding analytical and time management abilities.
    • Candidate must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and at least one accounting software (preferably Sage ERP).

    Procurement Officer / Storekeeper

    Job Summary

    • The store keeper shall participate and oversee the ordering, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing and shipping of equipment, materials and supplies for various departments.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Maintain and verify all transactions in the store.
    • Maintains a record of stock received and issued to departments.
    • Compile orders for purchasing and verify the receipt of orders with Accounts Payable.
    • Researches cost, quality and availability of goods, selects the appropriate goods and vendors, and then submit requisition that comply with the department's budgetary guidelines.
    • Monitor the storeroom budget.
    • Inspects and verifies that received stock meets specifications and that orders are complete.
    • Resolves order problems with vendors and departments, as necessary.
    • Stores articles by style, size, material, etc. according to departmental procedures.
    • Rotates supplies to ensure that items do not expire before use.
    • Maintains a clean, sanitary and orderly storeroom.
    • May make decisions regarding the physical layout of the storeroom.
    • Performs inventory of stock room supplies on a weekly and semi-annual basis and update on HMIS.
    • Conduct inventory maintenance and determine redistribution actions for stored goods when necessary.
    • Document storeroom operations for billing and inventory control.
    • Performs various clerical duties such as data entry of requisitions and receipts
    • Answers staff questions regarding storeroom activities, as required, to ensure that quality service is delivered.
    • Assists staff in evaluating new products and suggests product substitutions when necessary.
    • Liaise with departments in planning the range and quality of materials to be stocked.

    Job Requirements

    • Must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in any related discipline
    • Must have at least 1 year experience in store keeping/inventory
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
