Lead risk assessment, offset well analysis, and engineering design to optimize well delivery and safety
Serve as the focal point for technical planning discussions and progress updates with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong background in land-based or swamp drilling and completions in the Niger Delta region.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
A Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related disciplines. A Master’s degree is an added advantage.
A valid IWCF Level 4 Well Control Certificate.
Minimum of 15 years' experience in well planning and execution, with at least 5 years in a leadership role involving re-entries, workovers, or sidetrack operations.
Membership with a professional body such as the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) is preferred
Identify risks and propose mitigative plans related to land use, infrastructure development, stakeholder engagement, and community development initiatives.
Champion land use planning, resettlement strategy formulation, and right-of-way acquisition processes in compliance with Nigerian laws and global best practices.
Facilitte regulatory permitting and liaise with government bodies, community leadership, and relevant ministries.
Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Facilities Engineering, Urban and Regional Planning, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Master’s degree in Urban Planning, Project Management, or Energy Economics is an added advantage.
Minimum of 15 years relevant experience in oil and gas upstream operations with significant exposure to infrastructure planning, facilities development, or community interfacing projects.
Demonstrated experience in field re-entry or marginal field development projects in the Niger Delta is highly preferred.
COREN, NSE, NITP, or other relevant professional membership/certifications is an asset
