    Site Engineer

    Job Summary

    • The Site Engineer is responsible for providing day-to-day technical and engineering oversight on construction projects.
    • Working under the direction of the Project Manager, the role ensures that works are executed in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and programme requirements, while upholding quality, health & safety, and environmental standards on site.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Interpret and implement engineering drawings, specifications, and method statements on site.
    • Supervise subcontractors and site operatives to ensure works are carried out safely and to the required quality.
    • Conduct setting-out activities and verify dimensional accuracy of works against design drawings.
    • Monitor construction progress against the programme and report variances to the Project Manager.
    • Carry out and record site inspections, quality checks, and snagging activities.
    • Assist in preparing and reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
    • Maintain accurate site records including diaries, daily allocation sheets, and material deliveries.
    • Coordinate with design teams, consultants, and statutory authorities as required.
    • Support the management of materials, plant, and resources to minimise waste and delay.
    • Identify and escalate technical issues or design queries through the RFI process.

    Qualifications & Skills

    • Degree or HND in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related construction discipline.
    • Minimum 2-4 years’ experience in a site-based engineering role.
    • Proficiency in setting-out equipment (total station, GPS, level) and CAD/BIM software.
    • Working knowledge of relevant standards (e.g. BS EN, Eurocode, NHBC/LABC guidelines).
    • CSCS card (at minimum Skilled Worker level) and SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
    • Strong communication and organisational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
    • First Aid at Work certificate is a plus.

    Architect

    Job Summary

    • The Mid-Level Architect plays a key role within the design team, leading the development of architectural schemes from concept through to technical design and construction. Working under the guidance of senior team members, the role involves client liaison, coordination with multidisciplinary consultants, and production of high-quality design deliverables across a range of construction project types.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead the development of architectural design across RIBA Stages 2–5, producing drawings, models, and specifications to a high standard.
    • Prepare and present design proposals to clients, planning authorities, and internal stakeholders.
    • Manage and coordinate design information with structural, MEP, and other specialist consultants.
    • Prepare and submit planning applications and discharge of condition documents.
    • Produce technical packages including GA drawings, sections, details, and specifications for tender and construction.
    • Carry out site inspections during construction phase and manage technical queries and RFIs from the contractor.
    • Contribute to BIM coordination and model management in line with project BIM Execution Plans.
    • Assist in managing project budgets, design programmes, and resource planning.
    • Mentor junior team members and support their professional development.
    • Ensure designs comply with Building Regulations, planning policy, and relevant legislation.

    Qualifications & Skills

    • Minimum 3–5 years’ post-Part III experience in a construction-focused practice.
    • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; experience with BIM Level 2 workflows.
    • Solid knowledge of UK Building Regulations, planning policy, and construction procurement processes.
    • Experience across RIBA stages with demonstrated ability to produce technical design packages.
    • Strong graphic communication and presentation skills (including Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent).
    • Experience in residential, commercial, or mixed-use development.
    • Knowledge of sustainability frameworks (BREEAM, Passivhaus, or equivalent).
    • Working knowledge of CDM Regulations.

    Technical Staff

    Job Summary:

    • The Technical Staff at Glasstronic Technologies Limited are responsible for executing technical operations, supporting project delivery, and maintaining equipment and systems according to company standards. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, adherence to safety and quality standards, and collaboration with other team members to ensure efficient operations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist in the implementation and completion of technical projects, installations, and maintenance activities.
    • Operate and monitor glass processing machinery including glass cutting tables, edging/polish machines, washing machines, toughening and tempering furnace, laminating lines.
    • Carefully handle and process glass sheets of various sizes and thickness
    • Carefully monitor the glass tempering cycle (temperature, time, pressure) to ensure it meets specified standards
    • Conduct in-process quality checks to identify defects like scratches, chips, optical distortions or contamination
    • Assist in performing standard quality test
    • Follow technical procedures, safety protocols, and quality assurance processes.
    • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other technical staff to ensure projects meet timelines and specifications.
    • Identify, report, and resolve technical issues promptly to prevent delays or safety risks.
    • Support inventory management, including equipment, tools, and spare parts.
    • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including maintenance logs and technical reports.
    • Participate in training programs to improve technical knowledge, skills, and safety awareness.

    Qualifications & Skills:

    • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field.
    • Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in a technical or industrial environment preferred.
    • Basic understanding of technical systems, tools, and equipment relevant to building
    • materials and industrial solutions. AutoCAD skill is a must.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Needs to have a hands-on mentality (not afraid of physical work)
    • Adaptability: expected to work with more that one machine at a time
    • Safety conscious- strong awareness and respect for safety procedures
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and under supervision.
    • Knowledge of safety protocols, quality standards, and equipment handling procedures.
    •  Good communication and organizational skills.
