    General Manager

    Position Overview

    • We are seeking a results-oriented and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations and strategic growth of our water treatment company located in Lagos, Nigeria.
    • The General Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the business, including operations, business development, client relations, financial management, and team leadership.

    Key Responsibilities
    Strategic Leadership:

    • Develop and implement the company’s long-term vision, mission, and growth strategies.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in water treatment services, products, and solutions.
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and regulatory agencies.

    Operational Management:

    • Oversee daily operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality water treatment solutions.
    • Manage equipment procurement, maintenance schedules, and inventory levels to ensure efficiency.
    • Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and industry regulations. Team Leadership:
    • Recruit, train, and manage a team of professionals, including engineers, technicians, and administrative staff.
    • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide mentorship to enhance team productivity.

    Financial Management:

    • Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
    • Monitor profitability, reduce costs, and ensure optimal resource allocation.
    • Collaborate with the accounts personnel/external accountants to ensure accurate billing, invoicing, and financial planning.

    Client Relationship Management:

    • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients while developing new customer accounts.
    • Address client concerns and ensure satisfaction with the company’s products and services.
    • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.

    Marketing and Business Development:

    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and branding strategies.
    • Lead efforts to expand market presence and introduce new water treatment products and services.
    • Monitor industry trends and adapt strategies to maintain a competitive edge.

    Key Roles the General Manager Will Take On:

    • Operational Leader: Oversee all aspects of the company’s day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency and excellence.
    • Team Builder: Recruit, develop, and manage a capable and motivated workforce.
    • Financial Controller: Maintain financial health by optimizing budgets and improving profitability.

    Qualifications and Skills Educational Background

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Professional certifications in water treatment or project management are an advantage.

    Experience:

    • At least 5 years of experience in a management role, preferably in the water treatment or environmental services industry.
    • Proven track record of successfully leading teams and managing operations in a fast-paced environment.

    Water Treatment Engineer

    About the Role

    • As a Water Treatment Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and oversight of water and wastewater treatment systems. 
    • This role involves applying engineering principles to improve water quality, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and contributing to sustainable water resource management. 
    • You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective and efficient treatment solutions that support public health and environmental protection.

    Water Treatment Engineer Requirements
    Education:

    • A Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Water Resources, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering from an accredited institution.

    Experience:

    • Relevant experience in water and wastewater engineering, preferably in designing and constructing treatment systems.

    License:

    • A Professional Engineer (PE) license is an added advantage.

    Skills:

    • Strong project management skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
    • You should also have a genuine knowledge and interest in the water industry and environmental issues.

    Software proficiency:

    • Proficiency in engineering software, such as AutoCAD, hydraulic modeling software, and data analysis tools.

    Assistant Water Treatment Technician

    Job Summary

    • Our client is seeking for a dedicated and hands-on Assistant Water Treatment Technician. 
    • This role will support the installation, maintenance, and repair of water treatment systems for residential, commercial, and industrial clients.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist in the installation, servicing, and maintenance of water treatment systems including filtration units, reverse osmosis systems, softeners, UV systems, and chemical dosing units.
    • Help conduct site inspections, water sampling, and testing under the supervision of senior technicians.
    • Support the setup and calibration of pumps, valves, flow meters, and control panels.
    • Assist in the loading and replacement of filtration media and other consumables.
    • Maintain accurate records of work carried out, system readings, and customer feedback.
    • Follow safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during site visits.- Provide on-site support for emergency maintenance and service calls.
    • Assist in ensuring compliance with environmental and health regulations.
    • Help educate clients on basic system operations and maintenance practices.

    Requirements

    • OND or Technical Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Environmental Engineering or a related field.
    • 1 - 2 years of hands-on experience in water treatment or a technical field (internship or technician assistant roles).
    • Basic understanding of water treatment processes, plumbing, or electrical systems is an advantage.
    • Physically fit and able to lift equipment or work in confined spaces when required.
    • Willingness to travel within Nigeria for project assignments.- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
    • Must be proactive, teachable, and detail-oriented.

    Customer & Operations Support Officer

    Job Description

    • The Customer & Operations Support Officer will serve as a key link between the company, its customers, and its partners. 
    • This role involves handling customer enquiries, coordinating internal and external communication, providing administrative support, and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
    • Coordinate deliveries, service appointments, and field team assignments as needed.
    • Assist in preparing quotes, invoices, and service reports in collaboration with relevant departments.

    Key Responsibilities
    Customer & Client Support:

    • Receive, document, and respond to customer enquiries via phone, email, or in-person.
    • Follow up with customers regarding feedback, requests, and complaints, ensuring satisfactory resolution.
    • Provide accurate information to customers by liaising with the appropriate departments.
    • Maintain a professional and courteous approach to client interactions.

    Operations & Coordination:

    Requirements

    Working Conditions

    • Full-time position based in Lagos.
    • Some field work or errands may be required.
    • Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm (occasional weekend work depending on assignments)
