    Account Officer / Bookkeeper - Ojota

    Job Summary:

    The Account Officer / Bookkeeper will establish and maintain financial systems for the new supermarket, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and accountability from day one.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Record and reconcile daily POS and cash transactions.
    • Manage supplier payments, petty cash, and expenses.
    • Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports.
    • Support audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

    Requirements:

    Internal Auditor

    Job Summary

    We are looking for a seasoned Internal Auditor to design, implement, and monitor internal control systems for a new Supermarket and Bakery business. The role requires hands-on experience in audits, risk management, and operational controls.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design and implement internal control and audit frameworks
    • Conduct regular audits of sales, inventory, procurement, and cash handling
    • Review compliance with operational and financial procedures
    • Identify control gaps, risks, and fraud exposures
    • Prepare detailed audit reports with actionable recommendations
    • Monitor implementation of corrective actions
    • Support management in strengthening governance and risk controls

    Education & Experience Requirements

    • Minimum of HND/BSc in Accounting, Finance, or related field
    • 3–5 years relevant experience in internal audit, preferably in retail, supermarket, FMCG, or hospitality
    • Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, CIA) is a strong advantage
    • Strong knowledge of audit standards, controls, and risk management
    • Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills
    • High level of independence and professional judgment
