    Construction Site Quantity Surveyor

    Key Responsibilities

    • Cost Estimation and Planning
    • Contract Management
    • Cost Control and Valuation
    • Variations and Claims Management
    • Site Inspections and Reporting
    • Risk Management

    Requirement and Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
    • Professional certification (RICS, CIOB, or equivalent) is desirable but not Compulsory.
    • Knowledge of construction contracts (FIDIC, NEC, etc.) and contractual procedures.
    • Knowledge of quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, CCS Candy, or similar) and MS Office Suite.
    • Good analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

    Construction Equipment Personnel

    Responsibilities
    The Construction Equipment Personnel will be responsible for:
    Equipment Handling:

    • Operating and supervising the operation of heavy and low-duty construction equipment, including excavators, loaders, cranes, bulldozers, and more.
    • Ensuring equipment is used safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements.

    Maintenance:

    • Conducting regular inspections, preventative maintenance, and equipment servicing to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
    • Diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues promptly.
    • Coordinating with service providers for specialized repairs when necessary.

    Management:

    • Maintaining a detailed equipment inventory and ensuring proper storage and usage records.
    • Developing and implementing equipment management schedules to reduce downtime.
    • Training staff on proper equipment handling and safety protocols.
    • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience in managing construction equipment operations.
    • Strong knowledge of equipment maintenance, repair, and diagnostics.
    • Familiarity with construction site operations and safety standards.
    • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
    • Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
    • Certification in equipment operation or mechanical engineering is a plus.
