    Machinist

    Job Summary

    • We are looking for a Mechanical Rigger that shall be responsible for fabricating, repairing, and maintaining mechanical components and equipment used in the production of cement.
    • This includes operating machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, drilling machine, power hacksaw, Shaper machine and CNC equipment to produce precision parts that ensure the smooth operation of industrial machinery.

    Key Duties And Responsibilities

    • Set up and operate manual and CNC machines to produce or repair parts.
    • Analyse sample of excavated and crushed materials (including materials on the conveyor belt) for quality parameters.
    • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
    • Use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, bore gauges etc) to ensure accuracy.
    • Perform routine maintenance & upkeep of workshop equipment.
    • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and fabricate replacement parts as needed.
    • Maintain accurate records of repairs and part fabrication.
    • Inspect finished components for defects and ensure they meet specifications.

    • Minimum of ten (10) years relevant work experience.

    • Good knowledge of operation of all Workshop equipment (Lathe, CNC, Shaper, Planner, Milling, Drilling and power hacksaw for cutting, turning, boring, Thread cutting, key way cutting and drilling operations)

    HRIS (HR Information System) Specialist

    Job Summary

    • The HRIS Specialist is part of the HR Team and maintains the integrity and reliability of the organization’s HRIS (SAP SuccessFactors), ensuring applications meet the needs, requirements, and objectives of the HR department. 

    Key Duties and Responsibilties

    • Collaborates with HR Leaders and organizational leadership to determine the short- and long-term requirements for HRIS modules, and systems
    • Assesses current system and utilization; identifies and recommends improvements such as training, customization, and enhancements to maximize value and efficiency of the HRIS.

    HEMM Operator

    Job Summary

    • The HEMM Operator at Dangote Cement Plc is responsible for operating Heavy Earth Moving Machinery (Dumper, Excavator & Driller) in a safe and effective manner for effective productivity.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Operate assigned heavy equipment in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation and policies
    • Perform daily safety and maintenance checks of machinery.
    • Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and clean, lubricate and refill equipment as scheduled or required.
