    Safety Officer / Fire Watch

    Responsibilities

    • Watch the hot work and surrounding area.
    • Have and maintain line-of-sight to hot work being watched
    • Inspect extinguishing equipment before the hot work starts – Check connections, hydrants, hoses, extinguishers or other components for operability, discoloration, corrosion, or wear. Verify pressure is Ok, and tag is current.
    • Wet down areas where combustibles may be present, to reduce chance of ignition.
    • Ensure containment and barricading is sufficient to control slag and sparks.
    • Verify that a gas meter is present at the hot work at all times. If LEL readings change (beyond meter “drift”) or the meter goes into alarm, hot work must be shut down.
    • Only try to extinguish fires when they are small enough to handle with your on-hand fire extinguishing equipment.Call your site emergency response number immediately prior to trying to extinguish fire.
    • All fires, even flash-fires, must be reported to the site emergency operations center.
    • Stop (and don’t start) unauthorized hot work.
    • Do not perform any other duty that might interfere with primary duties as Fire Watch.

    Requirements

    • HND, B.Tech or B.Eng in Engineering or related discipline.
    • Minimum of 2- 5 years of relevant engineering experience in the oil and gas industry

    NDT Technician

    Responsibilities

    • Participate on welding, Welders and Welding Operators qualifications procedure qualification, including Mechanical Testing when required.
    • Review and approve the NDT procedures and Operators in liaise with the CTR’slevel.3
    • Review and interpret all or part of radiography films in addition to the third-party interpretation.
    • Cross check NDT (UT, PT, MT) specially AUT
    • Monitor performance of Production Tests and NDE in terms of quality and frequency, ensuring conformity with relevant specifications and codes
    • Supervise and witness inspections, check reports and documentation issued by inspectors and verify the collection of required Quality Records
    • Ensure that Contractor maintains accurate welding/NDT records throughout the contractual period
    • Ensure that acceptable standards of testing are maintained and alert QA/QC Lead if repair rates are above acceptable level
    • Ensure timely delivery of Preliminary welding tests and NDE documents to enable the procurement and construction processes to progress, with the objective to reduce costs without impacting the schedule or the required level of quality and safety.
    • Keep, monitor and follow up as necessary and maintain complete record(s) concerning the execution of the works.
    • Ensure that all statutory authority / permits / design approvals are available on site for construction.

    Requirements

    • OND, HND, B.Eng in Engineering or related discipline.
    • Experience in carrying out PAUT inspection.
    • Proficiency in the use of RMS and Rscan equipment.
    • Availability of all necessary documentation including SBC and valid OSP.

    Discipline Engineer

    Job Description

    • Lead the design, analysis, and optimization of engineering solutions for the projects on the asset, within the assigned discipline (e.g., Mechanical, Civil, Process, Electrical, or Instrumentation).
    • Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution to meet deadlines and objectives.
    • Coordinate cross-disciplinary efforts to ensure seamless project delivery.
    • Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
    • Coordinate with team members on constructability and design issues and monitor the interfacing between the construction automation plan and the project controls program at jobsites.

    Planner

    Responsibilities

    • Demonstrates SAFETY is the top priority
    • Participates in planning with Core/Work Teams
    • Plans and schedules any Routine Maintenance work required
    • Works with Planner in developing schedule, cost estimates and equipment planning for Routine work to be accomplished during the Turnaround window

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering within an applicable discipline, appropriate certification(s) within discipline, or equivalent professional experience
    • Previous experience in a closely related position
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to clearly and concisely convey recommendations to management
    • Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs
