    Senior Officer, MIS and Reporting

    Job Purpose

    • The MIS and Reporting Senior Officer is responsible for collecting, analyzing, validating, andpresenting operational and financial data to support management decision-making.
    • The role ensures accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of institutional reports, dashboards, andperformance monitoring tools in line with organizational and regulatory requirements.

    Key Responsibilities
    Data Management & Reporting:

    • Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
    • Validate data accuracy from core banking systems and other data sources.
    • Maintain automated dashboards and performance tracking tools.
    • Monitor KPIs across branches, regions, products, and departments.
    • Ensure timely distribution of reports to relevant stakeholders.

    Analysis & Business Intelligence:

    • Conduct trend analysis on portfolio performance, disbursements, PAR, productivity,and profitability.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to management for strategic decision-making.
    • Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance review processes.
    • Identify data inconsistencies and propose corrective actions.

    System & Process Improvement:

    • Support development and enhancement of MIS tools, templates, and automationprocesses.
    • Work with IT and operations teams to improve data extraction and reportingefficiency.
    • Document reporting procedures and ensure compliance with internal controls.

    Compliance & Governance:

    • Ensure reports align with regulatory and internal reporting standards.
    • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of institutional data.
    • Support internal and external audit data requests.

    Team Support:

    • Provide guidance to MIS/Reporting Officers and interns where applicable.
    • Train users on dashboards and reporting templates.
    • Act on behalf of the MIS Manager when required.

    Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

    • Timeliness and accuracy of reports.
    • Level of automation in reporting processes.
    • Quality of analytical insights provided to management.
    • Reduction in data discrepancies and reporting errors.
    • Stakeholder satisfaction with MIS outputs.

    Minimum Academic Requirement

    • Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc. / HND) in any of the following or related fields: Computer Science, Information Management / Information Systems, Statistics / Mathematics, Economics, Accounting or Finance, or Data Science or Business Analytics
    • Banking experience is a plus.

    Skills & Competencies:

    • Advanced Excel, data modeling, and dashboard development skills.
    • Knowledge of core banking systems, and SQL/data tools is an advantage.
    • Strong analytical, reporting, and presentation abilities.
    • High level of accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.
    • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
    • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

    IT Intern

    Responsibilities

    • Ensures hardware is appropriately configured, used, and managed and trained users on their tools.
    • Provide end User support for IT Infrastructure/Services and resolve anomalies within 48 hours with walk around for business continuity. No ticket should remain unattended to within 4 business hours.
    • Update inventories relating to the computer network and system and ensure integrity, confidentiality, and availability of company resources.
    • Keep all Windows devices updated, managed and reported. (No Windows updates older than 10 days, No antivirus updates older than 3 days, 100% of PCs under management and valid licenses). Ensure mobile devices are reported on MDM.
    • Ensure all systems (e.g. Inverter, PCs, Network, CCTV Cameras e.t.c) across the branches are functional and properly maintained. Records of the devices must be kept and changes updated periodically.
    • Perform routine checks on all network devices under jurisdiction and report anomalies within 24hours to management while following up on resolution.
    • Any other responsibilities as may be assigned by the Line supervisor/departmental Head
    • Follow up on all team members, ensure Biometrics Machines are functional in all Baobab NG branches.

    Requirements

    • University Degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Computer Electronics or equivalent.
    • Should have completed NYSC; preferably just concluded NYSC in the last 6 months
    • Any IT-related certification is a plus
    • Good knowledge of Enterprise IT Infrastructure.
