    Head of Sales and Marketing

    Job Summary

    We are seeking an experienced Head of Sales and Marketing to drive sales and increase company revenue and subsequently define data-driven actions and strategies in order to consistently optimise the business’s commercial performance. The Head of Sales and Marketing is expected to plan, develop, and execute the company's marketing and sales strategy as well as advertising initiatives and strategy. The role also includes sales and customer service management.

    Key Responsibilities

    •  Marketing Strategy: Planning, development and execution of marketing and distribution strategy that aligns with organisational goals
    • Driving new business revenue and managing the renewal of existing business through developing and maintaining strong customer relationships
    • Participate in the design, development and launch of new product offerings based on customer requirements.
    • Sales and customer service management and delivering on the Company’s overall revenue targets.
    • Define and communicate annual goals, perform formal and informal performance reviews, and ensure changes and updates are communicated in a timely and professional manner
    • Effective allocation and deployment of all Sales assets assigned to the Region to ensure optimal utilisation
    • Conducts performance evaluations of team members timely and constructive.
    • Mentor, manage and train sales and product professionals on a team
    • Reporting & Documentation of all sales activities to ensure timely and accurate decision-making.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree with extensive professional experience, a master's in business administration with a focus in marketing or an MBA with a concentration in Marketing.
    • 10-15 years experience in Sales & Marketing preferably from FMCG as a Head of Sales or equivalent senior marketing leadership role.
    • Proven track record of developing, managing and executing a wide range of marketing programs/campaigns across B2B and B2C verticals.
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire, mentor and develop marketing professionals.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, senior executives and external stakeholders.
    • Familiarity with marketing automation tools, customer relationship management (CRM) systems and analytical platforms

    Chief Compliance Officer

    Key Responsibilities

    • Ensure all filings are prepared and filed appropriately as at when due to prevent fines and sanctions.
    • Monitoring and review of all payments and transactions emanating from the Company and to ensure source documents are provided.
    • Resolving client complaints in line with Compliant Management Framework
    • Review of existing Client records, proper documentation review of new clients and verification of legal documents
    • Periodic review and update of all internal processes across all departments to ensure they are in line with the approved Standard operational Procedure.
    • Preparation and presentation of Quarterly Risk & Compliance reports to the Board and Management.

    Requirements

    • A First Degree in Accounting or Economics
    • A Minimum of four (4) years in the Capital Market (preferably Fund Management & Investment Banking)
    • Compliance & AML Certifications will be an added advantage
    • SEC sponsored Individual is preferred
    • Excellent leadership and management skills with a track record of implementing compliance programs across large organizations.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

    Research Intern

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist in gathering data for macroeconomics, earnings, company, sector, industry, and market reports.
    • Assist in the development and maintenance of a financial data bank.
    • Assist in developing models for research and other departments where necessary.
    • Send out morning news updates, price lists, and market reports.
    • Watch news events and updates for development and relay impactful news in a timely manner.
    • Stay on top of (and develop reports for) earnings releases, inflation reports, and GDP reports.
    • Collaborate with members of other departments where necessary to provide research support.

    Requirements

    • 0–1-year worth of experience in analytical-based roles or a track record of analytical-based personal projects.
    • Must possess a calm temperament with an ability to apply analytical methodologies to a myriad of situations despite emotional state.
    • Must possess an ability to accept constructive criticism and make improvements.
    • Must be a self-starter with an ability to take charge of their learning and development and assume ownership of projects to see them to completion.
    • Ideally with an analytical, statistical, or financial educational background (finance, economics, engineering, mathematics).
    • Proficiency with numbers and able to work with data.
    • Familiarity with basic Excel functions.
    • The ability to work within tight time frames and under pressure.
    • Must be courteous, respectful, and willing to learn
