    Belt Jointer

    Job Summary

    • Responsible for joining, repairing, and maintaining conveyor belts used in production or material handling systems.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform hot and cold volcanizing of conveyor belts
    • Cut, shape and splice belts according to specifications.
    • Inspect belts for wear, damage or misalignment
    • Install belt fasteners, clips and laggings where necessary
    • Ensure conveyors run smoothly after maintenance or joining
    • Maintain records of belt repairs and replacements.
    • Follow safety protocols during belt joining operations

    Requirements

    • Technical Certificate or Trade Test in Mechanical or related field.
    • 3–5 years of practical experience in conveyor belt jointing, vulcanizing, and repair within an industrial or mining environment.
    • Good knowledge of belt alignment, splicing methods (hot and cold), and safety procedures during maintenance.

    Operations Foreman

    Summary

    • The Foreman will superviseand coordinatethe activities of the team of workers or operators to ensure effective and safe execution of daily operational and maintenance tasks.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Plan, assign, and monitor daily work activities.
    • Supervise and train operators and technicians
    • Ensure compliance with safety quality, and operational procedures
    • Inspect equipment and report maintenance need.
    • Support shift in charge in achieving production targets.
    • Maintain discipline and promote teamwork among crew members.

    Requirements

    • OND or HND in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
    • 4–8 years of experience in plant or process operations within a mining, steel, or heavy industrial environment.
    • Strong knowledge of production processes, equipment monitoring, and shift supervision with focus on safety and efficiency.

    Mechanical Shift-in-Charge

    Summary

    • Responsible for supervising and coordinating all mechanical maintenance activities during a shift to ensure smooth equipment operation and minimal downtime.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Supervise mechanical technicians and maintenance crew during the shift
    • Monitor the performance of machines, conveyors, pumps, compressors etc.
    • Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
    • Ensure breakdowns are attended to promptly and effectively.
    • Maintain shift reports on equipment performances during downtime, and maintenance work.
    • Coordinate with the production and electrical department for maintenance schedules.
    • Enforce safety procedures and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

    Requirements

    • HND or B.Eng / B.Tech Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields
    • 5 - 10 years of experience in mechanical maintenance or operations within a mining, steel, or heavy industrial plant.
    • Strong knowledge of rotary and static equipment, troubleshooting, and supervision of maintenance activities during shifts.

    CCR (Central Control Room) Engineer

    Job Summary

    • The CCR engineer monitors and controls plant processes from the Central Control Room to ensure stable operation, product quality, and equipment reliability.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Operate DCS/SCADA Systems to control plant processes.
    • Monitor process parameters and make necessary adjustments to maintain optimal conditions.
    • Coordinate with field operators for inspections and troubleshooting.
    • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
    • Record and analyze operational data and report to shift in charge.
    • Respond promptly to process alarms or requirement.

    Requirements

    • HND or B.Eng/B.Tech in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Process Engineering.
    • 3–8 years of experience in Central Control Room (CCR) operations within a cement, mining, or process plant environment.
    • Strong knowledge of DCS/PLC systems, plant process parameters, and operational control for smooth and safe production.
