JOB OUTLINE:

• Responsible for all metal fusion/welding jobs, fitting, post welding and finishing processes.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for metal joining processes.
• Carry out all marking, pre —welding, welding and post welding activities like grinding, removal of spatters and any other duty assigned by the supervisor.
• Responsible for keeping the immediate working environment (welding area) neat and tidy.
• Keep custody of the welding machines, tools, and accessories.
• Responsible for the safety of equipment's under his custody.
• Carry out routine maintenance and cleaning of the machines under his custody.
• Carry out duties with right equipment and approved methods.
• Compile daily report on jobs completed.
• Abide with safety rules relating to his operations and proper use of the Personal
• Protective Equipment's provided.
• Reports to the Metal Work Supervisor.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

• B.Sc. or HND in Mechanical Engineering or Welding with minimum of 3 years' experience.

JOB OUTLINE:

• Responsible for the overseeing of CKD Assembly plant.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee the CKD Assembly plant.
• Prepare work plan for the Assembly plant weekly.
• Arrangement of the CKD units to be coupled day by day in line with their Sales order number that matches with the engine, base skid and the accessories.
• Prepare a process/work order sheet for the assembly.
• Oversee/supervise the testing technician/Quality Control and PDI Engineer.
• Attend to testing issues any time the issue arises.
• Check and monitor the quail process/procedure
• Check the PDI done by the PDI Engineer to the point of delivery to the customer.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

JOB OUTLINE:

• Responsible for executing all CNC machine punching operations and production plans as well as maintaining the machine.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible to receive the production order from the Supervisor and produce according to specification and quantity.
• Knowledge of the machine and operation parameters, measuring instruments used in the operations and keeps a copy and adhere to the operations procedure.

JOB OUTLINE:

• Responsible to Carryout panels monitoring and Synchronization

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop drawing of Control panels, Synchronization panels, Transformers, MCCs.
• Ensures that the Electrical Technicians complete deliverables as scheduled.
• Prepares single line diagrams, electrical calculations, cable sizing, specifications for electrical materials,
• Prepares requisitions for Electrical materials procurement as required in the Workshop.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate the Design and development, Production, Q.C, Production Control and Maintenance.
• Coordinates the development of new products, collection of customer requirement and converting into product specification ensuring that the required quality is achieved.
• Coordinates product performance review, follow up with corrective actions plans to resolve any issues related to quality, production, equipment, tooling, customer and production.
• Ensure that procurement plan is implemented, and the items are supplied in the right quality.
• Evaluate and review engineering spares and consumable request and carrying out purchase plans according to the consumption rate.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

• Bachelor of Engineering; preferably Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering.
• 7yrs in manufacturing.  Min. of 3yrs management experience, with technical leadership skills for problem solving
• Extensive knowledge of engineering practices and principles, familiar scientific methods of problem solving.
• Good understanding of Lean six sigma and proc:ess improvement With minimum of LSSGB certification.
• Excellent Analytical skill and change management, good knowledge of MS Office package, CAD system.

JOB OUTLINE:

• To effectively and efficiently carry out troubleshooting and field repairs, maintenance and servicing of electrical equipment installations, generator sets, machine systems and other specialized units.
• Act as mentor for the trainee Service Engineers and the Apprentices as well as newly recruited engineer as may be assigned from time to time.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspect, troubleshoot and trace faults on electrical modules and components of Caterpillar engines (Gas & Diesel), generator sets, machine systems and specialized units (e.g. altronic magnetos etc.) reported for repair, maintenance and servicing actions in the field.
• Conduct inspection, load testing, PDS and commissioning of new Caterpillar equipment and ensure completion of DSR Forms before delivery is effected to Customers.
• Establish and enlist parts required for assigned jobs and follow up for prompt order and delivery. • Implement all assigned electrical jobs (including electrolyte preparation and batter charging jobs) promptly, successfully and in accordance with Caterpillar standards without any redo actions.
• Use appropriate diagnostic tools to evaluate accurate performance of repaired components, units and systems.
• Take proper care of all company's assets (tools, test equipment, vehicle etc.) entrusted to his care.
• Perform or coordinate certain essential field service works, contract servicing, PIP and SOS functions as may be required or assigned from time to time.
• Report any difficult task to appropriate authorities for adequate attention and thus assist management in taking accurate repair decisions as the need arise.
• Prepare necessary documents and service reports (e.g. Delivery slips, SIMS etc.) both to customers and for management action as required.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

• HND/ First Degree in Engineering related field with 5 years of field experience.
• Good working knowledge of Caterpillar Electrics, sound and safe driving skills with valid professional driving license are added advantages.
