Job summary

Performs high level professional mechanical engineering duties in overseeing the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of agricultural and heavy-duty equipment.

Minimum Qualification: BSc, HND
Experience Level: Mid-Level
Experience Length: 7 years 

Job requirements/description  

• Vast knowledge with hands on experience on diesel engines
• Hands-on knowledge of heavy-duty equipment of various brands of trucks and articulated vehicles.
• AgroMachines operation, repair and maintenance.
• Asset assessment and evaluation skill
• Technical reporting and report writing skills
• Diagnostic skill and the use of various diagnostic tools and ETs
• Use of CAD software is an added advantage
• Ability to specify system components or direct modification of all machineries to ensure smooth conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.
• Collaborate with other engineers in the team to ensure smooth operations.
• Provides specialized technical input for MEP mechanical systems.
• Ready to work in any part of Nigeria

Academic qualifications and Technical skills

• Bachelors’ degree or HND in mechanical engineering or in a related field.
• COREN and MNSE professional registration and membership
• Not less than 7 years hands-on experience
• Excellent knowledge of diesel heavy duty equipment (construction, agricultural machines and equipment)
• Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft office
• Ability to run simulations and analyze test data

• Testing tractors and other agricultural machinery so as to ensure smooth operations on the field.
