    Programmes Intern, Consulting

    Roles & Responsibilities

    The Consulting Intern will;

    • Work with the team to solve problems in strategy, operations, or programme implementation.
    • Taking records at meetings and drafting minutes and action points for Associate’s review
    • Assist with capturing and documenting stakeholders, clients, and partners’ needs
    • Support projects and internal initiatives by participating in meetings and brainstorming sessions
    • Conduct thorough industry and stakeholders and partners research and analysis.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assist with organisational development, programme development, and advocacy efforts.
    • Manage knowledge repository by frequently uploading finalised project documents to the Team’s SharePoint.
    • Support team in data gathering and analysis, interviewing suppliers and presenting findings to other team members.
    • Perform any other duties and responsibilities related to Consulting Team activities as assigned.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or other Science/Humanities/Social Science Discipline. Second class upper desirably.
    • At least one active year of previous experience in project management or related work for a donor organisation, Consulting Company or NGO is an added advantage.

    Technical, Core and Behavioural Competencies

    • Proficiency in written and oral communication in English.
    • Proven data savviness: ability to gather and use data to make informed decisions.
    • Good interpersonal communications skills.
    • Proactive attitude and solutions focused.
    • Good stakeholder engagement and management skills.

    Alumni Relations Intern

    Roles & Responsibilities

    The Alumni Relations Intern will;

    • Support and contribute to the organisation’s strategic vision, and the continued evolution of its programmes.
    • Assist with the implementation and adaptation of the Foundation’s alumni engagement strategy.
    • Plan and execute logistics needed to carry out the Capacity Building unit’s programmes, related to our alumni.
    • Support the implementation of the alumni spotlighting strategy and the reform projects amplification plan.
    • Support with the development of proposals and concept notes.
    • Support with the compilation of alumni-related data and preparation of events and project reports.
    • Maintain all the unit’s files, databases, and documentation related to the alumni.
    • Arrange external and internal meetings, for alumni related programmes.
    • Provide administration support to the team.
    • Performs other assignments on an ad-hoc basis.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Second Class Upper in social sciences, sciences or humanities.
    • At least two years of previous experience managing stakeholders and projects.
    • Experience working on public sector related projects in a donor organisation, consulting firm, or Civil Society is an advantage.

    Technical, Core and Behavioural Competencies

    • The ability to work effectively within a small team in a fluid and fast paced environment.
    • Proven experience working successfully with cross-functional teams.
    • Strong creative and analytical skills.
    • Excellent knowledge of English (both oral and written).
    • Good interpersonal and communications skills.
    • Strong relationship management skills (including the ability to persuade, be an advocate, and influence).
    • Personal credibility, to establish effective working relationships.
    • Empathetic, open, and approachable with a positive and friendly disposition.

    Programmes Intern, Capacity Building

    Roles & Responsibilities

    The Capacity Building Intern will;

    • Organise meetings, document call reports, and follow up on action points from team meetings.
    • Support in the development of a workplan for the execution of capacity-building programmes.
    • Support in planning the budget, itinerary and resources for the capacity-building programmes.
    • Create risk analysis reports for programmes.
    • Research and create comparative cost analysis of vendors.
    • Conduct pre- and post-event surveys of the capacity-building programmes.
    • Research, benchmark, and create concept notes for capacity-building programmes and support the delivery of the programmes.
    • Carry out other duties and responsibilities related to capacity-building programme activities as assigned by the team lead.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Second Class Upper in Social Sciences, Public Relations or other related fields.
    • 0 – 2 years experience required
