Loan Access Officer at The Learning Gate Inc

About the Role

• We are seeking a competent individual who is capable of preparing, guiding, and supporting MSMEs and corporates to successfully access loan products from Developement Financial institutions.
• The role focuses on investment readiness, credit documentation, financial modeling, and end-to-end loan application support in line with DFI requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Advisory & Investment Readiness
• Loan Application & Documentation Support
• Support preparation of complete BOI loan applications.
• Develop or review:Bankable business plans
• Credit Structuring & Financial Analysis
• Stakeholder Engagement
• Post-Approval & Disbursement Support

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or Engineering (sector-dependent).
• 5–10 years experience in: Development finance, Commercial banking credit, Investment advisory, MSME or corporate finance
• Demonstrated experience working with DFIs, or intervention funds is highly preferred.
• Professional certifications (ACA, ACCA, CFA, FMVA) are an advantage.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong financial modeling and credit analysis skills
• Deep understanding of loan products and DFI lending processes
• Business plan development and investment readiness expertise
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
• Strong report writing and documentation skills
• High ethical standards and confidentiality

Preferred Attributes:

• Strong understanding of CBN development finance frameworks
• Results-driven and detail-oriented.

Salary
Commensurate with experience.
