    Research Officer

    Location: Potiskum, Yobe

    Job Summary

    • Action Against Hunger is looking to fill the role of Case Area Targeted Intervention (CATI) Research Officer to oversee the collection of quantitative and qualitative data, data management and monitoring of data collection ensuring data quality.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Daily supervision, quality monitoring and analysis of data collection by enumerators;
    • Follow up with project team to ensure all CATI forms are duly completed and synchronize on Mwater platform;
    • Select and train enumerators on data collection ethics and use of Mwater;
    • Ensure that the selected enumerators are willing to support the research work in their communities;
    • Prepare and organize a training to all selected enumerators on Mwater tools;
    • Conduct daily data quality checks on all data submitted/synchronized to ensure conformity with the research need;
    • Develop a data base for all the data collected and update it regularly;
    • Ensure protection and privacy of all data collected;
    • Proactively identify good practices and suggest improvement to the overall data tool.

    Qualifications

    • Degree in Statistics, Developmental Studies, Engineering, Demography or a related subject, with previous experience working in humanitarian projects;
    • High analytical reasoning;
    • Conversant with Mwater app;
    • Fluency in Hausa and English (both written and spoken skills);

    Remuneration

    • Minimum Basic Salary: NGN 281,063 per month (excluding other benefits)

    Human Resources Archivist

    Location: Abuja, Federal Capital Territory

    Direct Line Manager: Payroll Specialist

    Key Responsibilities

    • Implementing ACF Nigeria HR archiving procedures to ensure the highest control and security of employee documents;
    • Supporting the HR Assistant to track the filing of employee and HR documents.
    • Filing the documents in employee files in line with the approved HR personnel file checklist.
    • Share weekly updates on archived documents to the Payroll Specialist.
    • Ensuring all employees documents are scanned into softcopies and maintained in a comprehensive database.
    • Acting as the focal point for processing all daily worker requests.
    • Creating daily workers, interns, and volunteers files with all the relevant documents.
    • Support the HR Assistant to provide employee and HR documents when requested for audits.
    • Replacing documents after audits.
    • Monitoring the attendance and timesheets of daily workers, interns, and volunteers.

    Qualifications

    • Degree in any related field.
    • Minimum of 1 year experience working in HR and/or administrative support positions will be preferred.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Approachable, diplomatic, able to work effectively in diverse, cross-cultural teams in a complex, multi-site work environment.
    • Computer literacy including all Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook) is a must.
    • Excellent attention to detail, highly, rigorous, self-motivated, strong sense of responsibility, ability to work independently.

    Remuneration

    • Minimum Basic Salary: N128,140 per month (excluding other benefits).
