    Zone Operations Manager (Head of Zone Administration - FTZ)

    • The Zone Operations Manager is responsible for the overall management and administration of Zone operations. The role provides leadership oversight, ensures regulatory compliance, supervises personnel, and serves as the primary operational representative of the Zone.

    Responsibilities

    • Overall management of Zone operations
    • Supervision of Zone personnel
    • Regulatory and customs liaison
    • Oversight of licensing and compliance functions
    • Escalation management
    • Strategic development and investor growth oversight
    • Policy implementation and enforcement
    • The Zone Operations Manager serves as the primary operational representative of the Zone

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Public Administration, Management, or a related discipline (Master’s degree is an added advantage)
    • Minimum of 7 years’ relevant professional experience, with demonstrated leadership exposure
    • Compulsory prior experience working within a Free Trade Zone environment
    • Strong knowledge of Free Trade Zone regulations, licensing frameworks, customs procedures, and compliance requirements
    • Proven experience liaising with regulatory authorities, customs, and government agencies
    • Demonstrated ability to supervise teams and manage cross-functional operations
    • Strong understanding of policy implementation and operational governance
    • Excellent strategic planning, stakeholder management, and escalation handling capabilities
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • High level of integrity, professionalism, and decision-making ability

    The Regulatory & Licensing Officer (Compliance and Governance Lead - FTZ)

    Job Description

    • The Regulatory & Licensing Officer is responsible for managing licensing, compliance, and governance functions within the Zone. The role ensures regulatory integrity, statutory compliance, and audit readiness.

    Responsibilities

    • Processing FZE registrations and renewals
    • Conducting KYC and due diligence
    • Maintaining statutory registers and license database
    • Tracking renewals and compliance deadlines
    • Managing document control and regulatory filings
    • Supporting inspections and audits
    • This role safeguards regulatory integrity and maintains audit readiness.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
    • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in compliance, licensing, governance, or regulatory administration
    • Free Trade Zone experience preferred
    • Strong knowledge of KYC, due diligence, and statutory compliance requirements
    • Experience maintaining regulatory databases and statutory registers
    • Familiarity with regulatory filings and audit processes

    • The Investor Relations & Business Development Officer serves as the first point of contact for investors and Free Zone Enterprises (FZEs). The role ensures service continuity, supports investor onboarding, and drives Zone expansion and growth initiatives.

    Responsibilities

    • Acting as first point of contact for investors and FZEs
    • Managing application intake and onboarding
    • Maintaining service request and escalation log
    • Coordinating documentation between investors and the Zone
    • Supporting investor retention and satisfaction
    • Identifying and pursuing new investment opportunities
    • Supporting promotional and business development initiatives
    • This role ensures service continuity and Zone expansion.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, International Trade, or a related field

    • Free Trade Zone experience preferred
    • Experience managing client onboarding and documentation processes

    • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
    • Ability to manage service logs, documentation coordination, and escalation tracking
