    Senior Architect

    ROLE SUMMARY

    We are currently looking to hire an experienced, smart and self-driven senior architect. You will work in synergy with the project manager, clients and site managers from the design stage through to project completion. You will take on some projects as the lead designer responsible for all phases, from initial client meetings, technical designs and material selections. You will be the go-to-person for technical direction and interpretation.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Responsible for producing architectural working drawings including all details for architectural interior projects. This includes but is not limited to electrical, tile, elevations, plans and sections
    • Responsible for researching, selecting and specifying materials and finishes
    • Offer direction and leadership to junior architects
    • Maintain / organize project files, schedules, and specifications
    • Make regular site visits and assisting in construction supervision
    • Site survey / measures of existing conditions and producing drawings of same
    • Minimize our exposure and risk on projects by highlighting salient points of a project
    • Work with the entire team, in office and with outside consultants
    • Proficient time management to facilitate working on multiple projects simultaneously.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • B.Sc. in Architecture. M.Sc. desirable.
    • Certification or interest in space planning desirable
    • Minimum of five (5) years hands-on experience using AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Suite, SketchUp, and other design software
    • Previous experience within the interior design industry
    • Solid technical design knowledge
    • Ability to work on several projects concurrently
    • Ability to work under pressure, efficiently and focused
    • Ability to work well in a team
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Energetic, pro-active and driven with a good sense of ownership and self-motivation

    Art Gallery Assistant

    ROLE SUMMARY

    We’re looking for an ART GALLERY ASSISTANT to join our team! Ideally this will lead into a co-ordinator role within the team for you.

    You will have the following skills:

    • People Skills – Personality is everything in this role! You will be comfortable with HNWIs and have the presence to recommend ideas with charisma.

    Project Manager

    ROLE SUMMARY

    We are currently looking to hire an experienced, design and project manager to join our team. You must be armed with strong project management skills, a good sense for quality and design. You will work closely with the senior architect, clients and site managers from the design stage through to project completion. In this position you will act as interior designer and project manager, managing design related categories including flooring, tile, paint, cabinets, plumbing and electrical fixtures. You will also oversee project teams to ensure compliance in scheduling, energy performance, financial performance, and design excellence.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provide project management direction and compliance for multiple medium to large projects across multidisciplinary project teams
    • Create project plans and manage project staff billable time
    • Coordinate internal and external resources to meet milestones
    • Manage project schedules and budgets, and sourcing items like finish materials and accessories.
    • Evaluate project sites to determine requirements for completing each project
    • Ensure that each project has materials, finishes, FF&E, artwork, and window treatments suited to the team’s goals
    • Manage multiple, simultaneous projects through all phases of design and construction with high accuracy, timeliness, and follow-up.
    • Maintain an ever-evolving queue of design projects, continuously flexing when necessary
    • Track project deliverables and coordinate installation
    • Manage technical report writing efficiently and assist in compiling financial details and metrics for projects and campaigns
    • Drive improvements in health and safety performance, ensuring effective practice is promulgated to staff and partners who carry out activities on behalf of the business
    • Minimize our risk exposure by highlighting salient points of a project
    • Assure project legal documents are completed and signed – based on proposed drawings
    • Analyze project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization and communicate variances or other concerns.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Architecture, or related field required.
    • Minimum three (3) years of Interior Design experience required
    • Creative Industry-specific knowledge and experience Is an asset
    • PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, Prince2 or other credible project management certifications.
    • A proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects
    • Excellent computer proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
    • Effective oral and written communication skills.
    • Strong project management and time management skills.
    • Strong attention to detail, multi-tasking abilities, and an aptitude for teamwork.
    • Ability to review and interpret construction drawings.
    • Demonstrated negotiation and mediation skills

    Finance Lead

    ROLE SUMMARY

    We are recruiting for an experienced, smart and self-driven financial planner with super powers in financial reporting, analysis, forecasting, accounting, and revenue management. You will be the brains behind managing the finances of our business on a day-to-day basis. You will be the sidekick to our design team in managing budgets, updating and tracking all financial transactions for all our projects. You will spearhead the building, scaling and maintaining of a transparent and efficient accounting system.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develop trends and projections for the organization’s finances
    • Maintain accounts receivables and accounts payables
    • Manage and track payment milestones to achieve project deliverables within prepared budget
    • Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met
    • Dynamic reporting and breakdowns; forecasting and budgeting, ongoing cost and profit analysis
    • Stay on top of payments, records and reconcile POS remittances from the bank regularly
    • Seamlessly manage monthly payroll and payments
    • Issuing invoices for sales and management of post-sales procedures
    • Management of sales agreements, outgoing payments and finance reporting as required
    • Management of art exhibition and project costs; event costs; travel costs; shipping costs
    • Supervise, maintain and compile financial reports and statements in compliance with financial, regulations and requirements
    • Management of ongoing general operating costs; lease, utilities, business rates, insurance etc.,
    • Team up with external Accountants, Auditors, and Tax Consultants to ensure that company financial records and reports are up to date and follow government regulations
    • Correspond with all business units in the organisation, analysing costs, pricings, variable contributions, sales results and the actual performance compared to the business plans

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
    • ACA/ ICAN membership is mandatory
    • Excellent knowledge of risk analysis, budgeting and forecasting
    • The ideal candidate has at least three (3) years of experience in a Finance leadership role. Experience within the creative industry but not required.
    • Demonstrable high-level Microsoft Excel proficiency
    • Business-level communication and presentation skills
    • Excellent organizational and mathematic skills
