Art Gallery Assistant at Obida Design Associates - O'DA

ROLE SUMMARY

We’re looking for an ART GALLERY ASSISTANT to join our team! Ideally this will lead into a co-ordinator role within the team for you.

You will have the following skills:

• People Skills – Personality is everything in this role! You will be comfortable with HNWIs and have the presence to recommend ideas with charisma.
• Business Skills – you will be intelligent and great at problem-solving and have a working knowledge of various MS Office and Mac software packages.
• Enthusiasm – we have a fun studio, no jobsworths!
• Ambition - a desire to grow and develop new skills.
• Good Communications Skills – both written and verbal.

Hours (Full-Time)

Wednesday - Sunday | 11 - 6pm

Salary - N120,000-N180,000 (Naira), based on experience.

Location – Victoria Island, Lagos.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Arts Database - you will manage some of the liaison with our dozens of artists and ensure our database of available works is kept up to date.
• Art Advisories - you will review specifications from clients and populate an initial portfolio of suggestion for initial review by an Art Advisor.
• Client Visits - you will attend client homes with an Art Advisor; ideally you will have a to deliver or collect art.
• Online Sales - you will manage the packing, tracking and delivery of online sales, updating inventory.
• Admin/Research tasks – on request

REQUIREMENTS

• Have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (or its equivalent) in a relevant field
• Proven experience working at a creative agency OR with luxury brands and/ or high net worth individuals valued
