    Information Technology Application Officer

    Summary/Objectives:

    • Provide Application Support within the IT Unit. To assist the Head, IT in the delivery of the ICT Application Support aspects of the IT Plan.
    • To actively contribute to the Application Support team within the IT Department.

    Key Roles and Responsibilities

    • Assist with implementation of ICT application projects. Provide technical input where required.
    • Assist in the installation of system and conduct first-line training for users.
    • Initiating/ Implementing Information Technology Solutions
    • Managing Vendors selections and relationship
    • Maintaining System Backup
    • User Account Set-up and Management
    • Managing IT Related Infrastructures
    • First Level User support for the administration of Group CRM and Operations Workflow Application.
    • Provide support for application configuration and upgrades, and problem analysis and resolution for application problems, in conjunction with the users and external application or service suppliers where necessary.

    Senior Analyst

    Job Objective/Summary:

    • To ensure effective & efficient deal origination, structuring, execution and closure.

    Job Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Company and Sector Analysis to create deal flows- deal origination.
    • Preparation of proposals to drive deal origination process
    • Business analysis/ financial modelling to develop innovative financing options and effective deal structuring

      • Use financial modelling to predict outcomes

      • Negotiating and structuring financial deals

      • Assess and predict financial risks and returns

    • Effective liaison with the Research Unit for technical analysis and deal recognition.

    • Unsolicited financial advisory: Identify companies and render advisory services to companies based on in-depth knowledge & understanding of industry developments.

    • Distribution network: Maintain effective network of deal takers- PE firms, development banks, private investors, institutional investors for effective distribution of mandates originated and structured deals.

    • Effective and efficient follow up/ follow through on mandates originated to ensure adequate follow through and profitable/effective deal closure.

    • Relationship Management & Customer Service: 

      • Client relationship management: maintain effective flow of communication with existing and new clients

      • Maintain/ manage adequate flow of information between client companies and potential investors throughout the deal negotiation stage to ensure effective closure of on-going transaction.

      • Ensure clients’ records and transactions are handled with utmost confidentiality before, during and after deal execution.

      • Ensure effective record keeping of all details relating to transactions handled on behalf of clients for the statutory period or as dictated in the unit’s manual of operations whichever is longer.

    • Provide technical support to the business development desk to spot and secure target mandates

      • Contribute to competitive bids, proposals and formal presentations

    • Ensure cost efficiency and timeliness in the execution of mandates handled by the unit and provide summary report on all mandates executed upon completion for review by the unit.

    • Assist in all aspects of transaction execution including transaction packaging, analysis and preparation of offer memorandum, valuation and pricing, project evaluations, liaison with transaction parties and regulators, etc.

    • Networking: Ensure effective networking across the industry value chain to aid effective deal origination, structuring and financing

    • Transaction tracking: Ensure adequate tracking of transaction across the industry for effective participation and traction.

    • Any other responsibility assigned by the Team Lead.

    Accounts Officer

    Job Objective/Summary:

    • Support the Head of Accounts in provision of full financial and management accounting services to the Management, especially, MD/CEO.
    • Manage and safeguard the company’s finance and financial resources.

    Job Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate back office responsibilities as in a responsible and reliable manner
    • Effective Coordination of the Accounts Department with the aim of ensuring seamless flow of operations and generate relevant and timely information for the decision making process of the company.
    • Ensure adequate record keeping (efficient filing system), book keeping, and posting of transactions on a daily basis and maintenance of all relevant ledger accounts.
    • Banking liaison functions including daily banking of all instruments received.
    • Evaluate the performance of various types of banking relationships and make recommendations regarding the improvement of such relationships for effectiveness and efficiency of operations;
    • Conduct a daily reconciliation of all accounts maintained with the third parties such as banks, brokers, insurance companies; A daily report of such positions must be forwarded to the Managing Director, copying the Heads of Units
    • Generate weekly and monthly bank reconciliation statements.
    • Ensure client’s transaction  are posted real time into their cash accounts
    • Review procedural and document flow charts relating to the unit operations with a view to improving efficiency and effectiveness;
    • Assist in the production of periodic budgets for planning purposes
    • Monitor company’s budget with respect to the actual performance and the production of periodic budget variance analysis statements for management decision making.
    • Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service
    • Liaise with the company’s auditors with respect to the company’s annual audit.
    • Generate Fixed Income Investment report on a weekly basis.
    • Provide general accounting information needs for the Back Office operations
    • Generate business volume as per the attached Marketing Target for the back office for the financial year ending June 2010.
    • Any other assignments from the Managing Director.
