    Financial Controller

    Job Scope

    • General management and control of the finance and accounting functions of an arm of the Group.

    Job Roles

    • Act as the budget manager, clarifying modalities for budget inputs and collating budget and financial plan for the Division based on research, inputs from budget holders and primary financial data.
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to generate results, identify trends and produce reliable financial forecasts.
    • Liaise with and clarify queries/observations by both the internal and external auditors.
    • Effectively manage working capital for the business.
    • Continuously improve efficiencies; initiate and manage cost reduction strategies.
    • Motivate and lead finance team members by clarifying roles and providing coaching.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • B.Sc. / HND in any discipline.
    • Recognized professional qualification in Accounting, including International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
    • Possession of a Master's Degree confers an additional advantage.
    • Must have 8 - 10 years post-qualification experience in a well-structured finance unit of a reputable organization or top-tier accounting firm.
    • Not less than 3 years as a senior accountant or manager.

    Competencies:

    • Excellent knowledge of tax, accounting, and financial management.
    • Up-to-date knowledge and application of IFRS.
    • Sound analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Good communication and persuasive skills - written, verbal & presentation.
    • Outstanding manager of human and material resources.
    • Above average in computer proficiency.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Navision Dynamics (not compulsory but desirable).

    Technical Sales Manager

    Job Description

    • We are seeking a motivated and experienced Technical Sales Manager to join our team. As a Technical Sales Manager, you will be responsible for designing, selecting, and selling our commercial HVAC equipment.
    • You will also be responsible for managing and developing our engineering team.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Co-ordinate all technical and sales related activities, departmental operations including ordering of commercial air-conditioning units from factories worldwide.
    • Promote Sales of the Company's products in order to increase the Company's Market share in the HVAC sector in Nigeria.
    • Sales Analysis, Follow ups, and Market intelligence.
    • Increase and retain customers through strategic relationships.
    • Submission of Technical Proposal, Selection of recommendation of HVAC equipment and Preparation of estimates/quotation.
    • Sales follow-ups/Offer reports/Championed Product update. Calculation of cooling load estimates and HVAC design.
    • Site visit to assess project quotation/design.
    • Contract Documentation
    • Customer Order Management
    • Carry out other duties as assigned by line manager.

    Qualifiations and Experience

    • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Thermal Engineering.
    • Minimum of 15 years of experience in the engineering field.
    • Knowledge & Application of Air-conditioning systems
    • A post graduate degree would be an added advantage. Professional Certification is required.

    Other Required Skills:

    • Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills.
    • The ability to manage a team.
    • Strong organizational skills.
    • Ability to work independently.
    • Ability to work well in a team environment.
    • Ability to win in competitions.
    • Technical Skills Commercial A/C designs, Product Critical components,
    • Specifications decoding, Product Software etc.
    • Computer Skills - Ms. Office Suite, MS Project, AutoCAD
    • Cost Estimation - Overseas/Imported items.
    • Stakeholder management
    • Sales, Marketing & Negotiation
    • People management
    • Specific experience: Design, Selection, Sales and Installation of commercial HVAC systems.
