    Legal Officer- Legal Advisory

    Job Specialization:

    • Support the Legal department and will be part of a team of lawyers 
    • providing day-to-day contract and legal advisory support to business units within the Company.
    • Processes legal transactions, prepares and reviews legal opinions and agreements including operational agreements, finance / security and related documentation
    • Maintains and periodically update the databases maintained by the Legal department including the bank guarantee, lease, letters and agreement registers
    • Assists with documenting bid openings and tenders prior to the Supply Chain team awarding contracts to vendors, and also conducts initial investigations on any allegations of breach of process

    Requirement:

    • First degree in Law and a BL from the Nigerian Law School.
    • A postgraduate degree in Law and / or relevant certification will be an added advantage.
    • 4 - 6 years post-NYSC/call legal work experience either from a reputable law firm or within the Legal Department of a reputable and structured business environment 
    • Proven track record in litigation, contracts, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.

    Supply Chain Support (Buyer)

    • Support supply chain optimization through strategic sourcing of goods and services, handle procurement activities related to engineering services, and indirect items. 
    • Support periodic procurement planning, purchasing, product delivery 
    • scheduling, inventory control, product pricing estimations/market surveys, and customer satisfaction management. 
    • Ensure the needs of requestors are proactively identified and met; take appropriate actions by handling request orders, supporting tendering/bid management processes, contract negotiation, price management, service delivery, vendor management, and communication efforts with suppliers.
    • Prepare commercial evaluations, make recommendations for bid selection, and liaise with customers during the tender process.
    • Organize technical evaluations of bids and ensure purchase orders comply with specifications

    Requirement:

    • 1st degree from a reputable tertiary institution
    • 4 - 6 years post-NYSC work experience in a similar role with a reputable and structured business environment.
    • Good knowledge of inventory management, fixed asset accounting, supply chain demand, and supply planning principles.

    Supply Chain Support (Warehouse)

    • Support the receipting, dispatch, planning, reporting, and provision of analysis for restocking of non-hydrocarbon items stored in the material warehouse & other third-party locations.
    • Provide developmental plan for the improvement of warehouse staff in the key areas of customer service, health & safety, inventory management & optimization for business efficiency, growth & profitability.
    • Ensure all fixed assets received into the warehouse are adequately tagged physically for identification and tracking purposes.
    • Ensure all fixed assets dispatched from the warehouse are delivered on time and tracked by locations for onward use by the fixed assets accountant.
    • Conduct periodic categorization of items with users, prompting discussions on the obsolete or useful status to optimize inventory management.
    • Compile and timely submit weekly, monthly, and quarterly inventory, optimization, and operational reports.

    Requirement:

    • 1st degree from a reputable tertiary institution
    • 4 - 6 years post-NYSC work experience in a similar role with a reputable and structured business environment.
    • Good knowledge of inventory management, fixed asset accounting, supply chain demand, and supply planning principles.

    Human Resource Business Partner

    • Responsible for the delivery of employee engaging activities as well as all Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) related administration. 
    • Prepare letters of introduction- Bank, Pension Fund Administrator (PFA), Embassies etc. for all full-time employees.
    • Partner with business units on all employee engagement activities.
    • Conduct periodic survey to evaluate the effectiveness of employee engagement activities

    Requirement:

    • A first degree in the Humanities, Social Sciences, Administration etc. or another relevant field
    • 4 - 6 years’ experience as a Human Resources Business Partner, or Employee Relations Specialist or HR Consultant within a reputable and structured business environment, preferably a multinational corporation.
    • Experience as an HR Generalist, open to being cross trained

    Business Application Support

    • Provide on-going support for all business technology solutions, ensuring that the services provided to users are the highest possible standard within the resources available
    • Work with service desk to support user request and delivery. 
    • Support testing activities to ensure developed solution meets documented requirements and systems goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify issues.
    • Meets with business department’s representatives, systems owners, and end users to gather business, financial, operations requirements and systems goals; to identify and resolve systems issues.
    • Reviews and analyzes the effectiveness and efficiency of existing business applications.

    Requirement:

    • 4 - 6 years post NYSC cognate work experience in a reputable organization/institution. At least 3 years user support experience
    • Specialized in PowerApps Development

    GRC Support

    • Support the maintenance of good governance across the organization by the setup of governance structures, reviewing such governance structures, monitoring, and reporting 
    • Maintain a risk management framework that will ensure current and potential exposures that could affect the company’s ability to achieve its short-, medium- and long-term strategies are properly managed and kept within the company’s risk appetite.
    • Update and administer Enterprise, Project and Process Levels, risk registers.

    Requirement: 

    • 4 - 6 years post NYSC and qualification work experience
    • 1st degree in any relevant field
    • Professional membership of or relevant certification by any of the following professional bodies: ACCA/ICAN/ANAN/IIA /ISACA/ACFE/IRM/OCEG/ IARCP/Accredited ISO Certification Bodies will be an added advantage

    Legal Officer- Board Matters & Litigation

    • Support board related matters as well as ensure effective compliance with process and procedures on legal transactions with the aim of reducing the existing litigation portfolio and attenuating potential legal exposures and risks amongst other things.
    • Handle litigation and other forms of dispute resolution involving the company including liaising with approved external counsel.
    • Provide support in drafting/adapting legal documents for effectively resolving all matters revolving around litigation.
    • Support in monitoring all Litigation matters, ensuring effective follow up where necessary and favorable conclusion of court cases.
    • Identify and ensure an up-to-date statutory filings process at Corporate Affairs Commission

    Requirement:

    • First degree in Law and a BL from the Nigerian Law School.
    • A postgraduate degree in Law and / or relevant certification will be an added advantage.
    • 4 - 6 yrs post-NYSC/call legal work experience either from a reputable law firm or within the legal department of a reputable and structured business environment 
    • Knowledge of Corporate Governance, Litigation, Legal Case Handling & Analysis, Legal Drafting, and Legal Advisory
