    Agric Farm Manager

    Location: Ibadan Gambari, Nigeria

    Job Overview

    We are seeking a highly dedicated and experienced Agriculture Farm Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Gambari farm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for strategic planning, resource management, and hands-on supervision to ensure efficient and sustainable crop production. This role requires a balance of technical agricultural knowledge, leadership ability, and business acumen.

    Key Responsibilities

    Crop Management

    • Identify suitable crops based on soil conditions, climate, market trends, and available resources.
    • Plan and coordinate all farming activities, including planting, fertilization, irrigation, pest control, harvesting, and produce sales.
    • Monitor crop yields, assess soil health, and implement corrective or improvement measures as required.

    Operational Oversight

    • Supervise and coordinate the work of farm workers, seasonal laborers, and contractors.
    • Oversee the maintenance and repair of farm equipment, machinery, and infrastructure.

    Financial & Administrative Duties

    • Develop and manage farm budgets, control costs, and forecast expenditures.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of farm operations, yields, inventories, and financial activities.

    Compliance & Safety

    • Ensure adherence to environmental, safety, and agricultural regulations.
    • Promote and implement sustainable and eco-friendly farming practices.

    Market & Stakeholder Engagement

    • Negotiate contracts and market farm produce to buyers, distributors, or processors.
    • Collaborate with agronomists, veterinarians, and agricultural consultants to enhance productivity and profitability.

    Qualifications

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, or a related field.
    • Experience: 8–10 years of proven experience in farm management or agricultural operations.
    • Skills: Strong leadership, budgeting, problem-solving, and equipment handling abilities.
    • Technology: Proficiency with farm management software and precision agriculture tools.
    • Physical: Ability to work outdoors and manage physically demanding tasks.

    Preferred Attributes

    • In-depth knowledge of farming techniques and sustainable agriculture practices.
    • Experience with GIS and data-driven farming.
    • Excellent understanding of the Nigerian climate, crops, and agricultural markets.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Willingness to live on-site or nearby the farm.

    Freight Sales Executive

    Job Summary

    The Freight Sales Executive will drive revenue growth by sourcing and closing new business opportunities in freight forwarding and logistics while managing key client accounts. The role requires a results-driven professional with strong industry knowledge and excellent client relationship skills.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Identify and secure new business opportunities to meet sales targets.
    • Build and maintain strong client relationships through tailored logistics solutions.
    • Prepare and present sales proposals and negotiate contract terms.
    • Manage key accounts and collaborate with operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
    • Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
    • Maintain accurate sales records and reports using CRM tools.

    Requirements

    • 3–5 years of sales experience in freight forwarding or logistics.
    • Proven ability to close deals and consistently achieve revenue targets.
    • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred).

    Compensation

    • ₦300,000 – ₦500,000 monthly
    • Commission and quarterly performance bonus
