    Housekeeping Supervisor

    Responsibilities

    • Report to work as per the Rota, clean, tidy and wearing the correct attire and name badge well positioned.
    • Read and sign on all logged messages from the previous shift in the hand-over log book.
    • See that your staff also appear in their appropriate Uniforms, neat and show readiness to work.
    • Maintain top-clean, hygienic work environment on the floors, restaurants, public areas and hotel in general.
    • Good understanding of the day’s hotel occupancy level vis-à-vis your available attendants’ on duty is of immense importance. Allocate rooms, floors and other tasks to the attendants. Supervisors’ floor of coverage will also be ascertained.
    • Prepares staff weekly duty schedules.
    • On a daily basis, check all Vacant clean, Occupied dirty / clean and Sleep-out rooms. Also, check all out-of-order rooms on your floor. Work towards ensuring that no room on your floor of coverage is not visited by you and, no room remains occupied dirty after you had closed except on DND, Double-lock, refused service or chain-lock. Checks the public areas, stairways, lounge areas, locker rooms for cleaning consistency.
    • The room status of occupied dirty rooms must be turned occupied clean in the system (if cleaned) before closing.
    • See that all Checked-out rooms are quickly cleaned and turned Vacant clean, and none should be left un-cleaned before closing.
    • Work towards ensuring a complaint-free clean guest- rooms, bathrooms, corridors, staircases, public ares and all store rooms.
    • Ensure that all tea items and bathroom supplies are complete in every Guest room. The HOD should be informed at once of any single non available guest room supplies.
    • To Train, encourage, guide and motivate Associates / colleagues.

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess minimum of a Bachelor's Degree with 5 - 10 years relevant work experience.

    Human Resources Assistant

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Assists the HR Manager in general coordination of all HR duties and responsibilities.
    • Compiling payroll/ Attendance data.
    • Coordinating HR Dashboard / Statistics.
    • Coordinating HR welfare support and activities for staff.
    • Assist and resolve hotel staff and management queries.
    • Updating salary and benefits information.
    • Assists the HR Manager in preparation and setting up venue for training and development program for staff.
    • Manage HR administration such as starters and leavers process.
    • Complete monthly and fortnightly paperwork to be submitted to the Payroll team.
    • Ensure consistent update of staff information management system and physical filling.
    • Assist with employee relation issues in the hotel in a confidential manner, including disciplinarians, grievance and capability.
    • Manage HR administration such as contracts, letters and personnel files.
    • Maintenance of HR email account and ensures prompt response.
    • Analyze staff turnover and sick leave with the aim of implementing strategies for reduction.
    • Assists the HR manager in Budget preparation where required and is fully aware of all Budgeted Positions and hiring approvals.
    • Ensure compliance with all HR legislation and keep up to date with changes to local authorities.
    • Supporting the hotel with departmental training requirements including inductions, work experience, careers fairs, and training materials.
    • Ensures confidentiality is maintained at all times and provides information only to those with a need to know.
    • To know and follow the Health &Safety at Work Act and comply with the hotel’s Health & Safety policy.

    Requirements
    Education:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or other related fields.

    Experience:

    • At least 2 years of experience in Human Resources Management.

    Prerequisites:

    • Confidence in working independently and part of a team.
    • Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations.
    • Effective written and oral communications skills including the ability to prepare reports, proposals, policies and procedure.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Interact with customers, take orders for drinks and snacks.

    • Serve snacks and drinks to the customer.
    • Check identification of the guest to make sure they meet age requirements for purchase of alcohol and tobacco products.
    • Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks.
    • Mix drinks, cocktails and other bar beverages as ordered and in compliance with hotel standard drinkrecipes.
    • Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages.
    • Service Wineand Beer to guests.
    • Arrange bottles and glasses to make attractive displays.
    • Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
    • Ability to Sell or influence others for up selling andsuggestive selling.
    • Provide recommendations and suggestions to guest for choosing Drinks and Snacks.
    • Serve customers in a friendly and helpful manner.
    • Keep the bar counter and work area neat and clean at all times.
    • Determine when a customer has had too much alcohol and if required refusing any further serving on a polite way.
    • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of food and beverage products, menus andPromotions
    • Handle and move objects, such as glasses and bottles, using hands and arms.
    • Clean up after customers and clean work area.
    • Maintain a clean working area by sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning of glass doors and windows, etc. if required.
    • Perform physical activities such as lifting and stooping.
    • Maintain liquorinventoryand consumption.
    • Collect payment for drinks served andbalanceall receipts.
    • Prepare inventory orpurchase requisitionsas needed to replenish supplies.
    • Ensure that the assigned bar area is fully equipped with tools and products needed for Mixing beverages and serving guests.
    • Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
    • Comply with all food and beverage regulations
    • Perform Other duties as and when assigned by the hotel management.

    Requirements
    Education:

    • Minimum of Diploma in any field.

    Experience:

    • 3 - 5 years experience (Previous bartending experience required)

    Prerequisites:

    • Must be able tocommunicatein English writing and speaking and other languages are advantages. Good personality and Positive interpersonal skills are required.
