    Executive Assistant

    Responsibilities

     

    • Act as the point of contact among executives, employees, clients and other external partners

    Business Development Analyst (French Speaker)

    Responsibilities:

    • Establish partnership with international trade organizations and local groups that facilitate cross-border trade between Francophone Africa and Europe.
    • Source, cultivate and close new credit deals across Francophone Africa (including Senegal, Côte d'Ivoire, Benin, Cameroon, Rwanda, Togo).

    Risk & Control Associate

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Participate in the continual review and update of the company’s risk policies, compliance policies, guidelines, and practices, in line with changes in the company’s business priorities.
    • Assist in the implementation of risk management policies, compliance policies, periodic risk reviews / and monitoring of organization-wide risk portfolio.
    • Conduct daily reviews of transactions as well as periodic process reviews to ensure compliance with internal controls.
    • Monitor and track compliance with Turnaround Time and Service Level Agreements and escalate non-compliance to the Chief Risk Officer.
    • Monitor and prepare periodic reports on the status of risks and the effectiveness of existing controls.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Credit Investment Specialist

    Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for due diligence, structuring and evaluating private credit transactions in technology, agriculture, logistics and mining sectors in Africa
    • Problem solve creative ways of de-risking/structuring transactions in order to reduce risk exposure
    • Develop credit memos and present findings to Investment Committee
    • Together with Leadership, Risk and Legal team, build out best-in-class credit processes and portfolio monitoring capabilities
    • Interface directly with borrowers throughout loan origination process and represent Risk team as needed in live transactions
    • Co-develop technology solutions with Product, Engineering and Data Science team, that allows for differentiated data insights throughout credit decisioning journey as well as scalable, automated processes

    Requirements:

    • 4+ years of work experience with background in due diligence and structuring transactions at investment banks, private equity firms, debt funds or consulting firms
    • Experience with trade finance or private credit transactions in Africa is highly preferred

    Operations Associate

    • Oversee the operations, maintenance, and bookings for our venue.
    • Required to work with management to create venue pricing packages while further engaging local and international communities within the space.
    • Build annual timetable and calendar activity for visual art exhibition programs
    • Secure bookings, liaise with event managers and clients and coordinate the logistics of events.

    • Create a roadmap for the Build museum artefacts (report to partners through an updated database with accurate records on artists' profiles, stories, art and other critical information)
    • Communicating and enforcing all security regulations and protocols: Address all religious and governmental requirements and ensure laws are not broken across licensing (especially for museums) and approvals.
    • Weekly and monthly reports on tasks completed.

    Qualifications

    • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a venue or event manager is preferred.
