    Graphic Designer

    Job Description

    • We are looking to hire a Graphic Designer that can create engaging and brand-compliant designs across print & digital channels.

    Responsibilities
    The incumbent will be required to execute the following:

    • Engage in the entire process of defining requirements, visualizing, and creating graphics including illustrations, layouts, and photos.
    • Ability to conceptualize and develop brochures, management letters, reports, journals, magazines, newsletters, product packaging, and one-off materials
    • Ability to conceptualize visuals based on requirements
    • Develop images and layouts by hand or using design software
    • Art direction and photo editing
    • Excellent oral & written communication
    • Ability to liaise with internal customers to understand requirements for projects
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills
    • Study design briefs and determine requirements
    • Schedule projects and define budget constraints
    • Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
    • Develop illustrations, identities, and other designs using software or by hand
    • Amend designs based on feedback
    • Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
    • Quality control – review materials for errors and ensure brand consistency

    Qualifications

    • Possess a minimum of Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc., B.A., B.Eng./B. Tech., etc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in any discipline with a Second Class Lower/Lower Credit division
    • Have a minimum of credit in five WASSCE/GCE/NECO Ordinary Level subjects or acceptable equivalent examination, including Mathematics and English Language in one sitting only
    • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role either working within the marketing or corporate communications department of an organization or at an advertising agency.

    Software Requirements:

    • Adobe Creative Cloud ( Indesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop)
    • In-depth knowledge of the use of Microsoft Word & Powerpoint is an added advantage.

    Risk Advisor - Controls Transformations and Assurance

    Job Description

    • The ideal candidate will be responsible for working on clients’ projects/engagements and providing support to project team members. 
    • Show knowledge of IT systems (Operating System, Application, Network, Database)
    • Actively exploit identified system vulnerabilities along with appropriate documentation.
    • Knowledge of some regulatory, technical, and industry standards, frameworks, and practices (e.g. ISO 27001, ISO 20000, NIST, etc.)
    • Carry out research on complex issues thoroughly and completely to provide innovative ways to approach and resolve an issue.  Demonstrates independent work and follows through on research steps through the results and findings stage.
    • Identify, rank, and prioritize risks and exposures and develop a strategy for mitigation or remediation. Organize and coordinate solutions proposed by the team and sells proposed remediation activities to the client
    • Review engagement documentation for compliance with Deloitte's standards and ensures deficiencies are corrected.
    • Applicants must show a keen interest in Information Systems Controls.
    • Be of proven integrity, giving attention to confidentiality requirements
    • Possess excellent writing and oral communication/presentation skills
    • Ability to think outside the box and quickly learn new ideas independently

    Qualifications

    • Possess a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc., B.A., etc.) in Computer Science or Engineering or related discipline with Second Class Upper / Upper Credit
    • Have a minimum of credit in five WASSCE/GCE/NECO Ordinary Level subjects or acceptable equivalent examination, including Mathematics and English Language in one sitting only
    • Having one of the following would be an added advantage: CISA, CISSP, CISM.
    • A Master’s degree in an information technology/information security-related field from a reputable university will also be an added advantage
    • Knowledge of various operating systems including but not limited to Windows, Linux/Unix
    • Understanding of security vulnerabilities in common operating systems, network devices, and web applications, including knowledge of remediation procedures
    • Proficient in the use of MS-office tools i.e. Excel, Word and Power-point
    • Experience in any of the following areas will be an added advantage: Applications, Databases, and Operating systems control including SAP, SAGE, Finacle, Flexcube, AWS, Microsoft Cloud, Windows, AIX, SQL, Oracle, and use of tools such as ACL, etc.

    Operations Officer

    Description

    • The desired candidate will work closely with the Head of Operations to drive business volumes from respective PFIs.
    • This includes but is not limited to transaction origination, monitoring of guarantee portfolio, claims process management, and driving of new business volumes. The candidate will take on a variety of strategic responsibilities helping to shape operations.
    • As one of the core mandates of the organization is to de-risk MSME lending, she/he shall collaborate with PFIs to improve access to finance for MSMEs as banks and MFIs provide more and better products and services to these enterprises.

    Responsibilities
    The scope of work covers the following specific areas:

    • Generate revenue by sourcing for clients
    • Act as a focal person and responsible for the front-to-end in the guarantee application process of respective PFIs by performing an independent, forward-looking appraisal of current and prospective clients in compliance with the guarantee operations manual.
    • To collaborate and ensure an in-depth understanding of PFIs lending portfolio placed under guarantee through regular value-adding interaction in order to effectively meet the needs of the respective PFIs.
    • Review the presentations of guarantee lines ensuring that all the information necessary for the decision-making is well captured in the proposal.
    • Evaluate and conduct periodic monitoring of PFI lending activities and portfolio placed under guarantee to ensure strict compliance with internal and cooperation guidelines.
    • She/he would ensure that adequate portfolio management objectives and deadlines are met and have knowledge of internal operations standards and procedures.
    • Proactively assist in resolving issues in the management of respective portfolios and escalate when necessary to ensure quick resolution.
    • Maintain due process and ensure accurate verification of data in compliance with internal guidelines to ensure prompt claims payment.

    Requirements

    • Post-graduate qualification in Business, Finance, Economics, or related fields.
    • Candidate must have at least 6 years of experience relating to guarantee operations and/or banking pertaining to lending to the MSME sector.
    • A background in banking, insurance, or trade finance is essential.
    • Extensive experience with commercial banking in MSME lending, credit appraisal, and evaluation, financial analysis, revenue management, financial modeling & forecasting, compliance & regulatory issues, and administration functions.
    • Experience in a fast-growing, challenging business environment
    • The Operations Officer must be someone who demonstrates the ability to develop/grow a business in terms of sourcing for clients and managing client relationships.
