    Training Facilitator – Leadership for Sustainable Institutions (ESG Focus)

    AIBT invites applications from highly knowledgeable professionals for the role of Training Facilitator – Leadership for Sustainable Institutions (ESG Focus).

    The facilitator will deliver a specialized executive programme designed to equip leaders in public, private, and non-profit institutions with the skills needed to embed Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into organizational strategy, operations, reporting, and leadership culture.

    The facilitator must demonstrate expertise in:

    • Sustainability leadership
    • ESG frameworks (GRI, SASB, TCFD, ISSB)
    • Corporate governance and ethical leadership
    • Environmental compliance and social responsibility
    • Responsible investing and sustainable development

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and deliver training modules on ESG-driven institutional leadership
    • Facilitate discussions, case studies, group work, and scenario-based exercises
    • Guide participants on integrating ESG into organisational strategy and reporting
    • Provide practical tools for sustainability risk management and stakeholder engagement
    • Prepare course materials, assessment tools, and post-training reports
    • Support participants in designing institutional ESG improvement action plans
    • Work with AIBT Programme Team to ensure alignment with global ESG standards

    Requirements

    Essential Qualifications

    • PhD degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Public Policy, Corporate Governance, Management, or related field
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in ESG, sustainability leadership, governance, or responsible business consulting
    • Demonstrated experience facilitating executive or professional development programmes

    Preferred Qualifications

    • PhD degree (Sustainability, Sc ESG, PA, Sc Governance, or related programme)
    • Experience with sustainability audits, ESG reporting, impact measurement, or regulatory compliance
    • Familiarity with global sustainability standards (e.g., GRI, SDGs, ISSB, IFC Performance Standards)
    • Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
    • Ability to apply real examples from Africa, emerging markets, and global best practices

    AIBT is seeking an experienced Training Facilitator to deliver a specialized programme on Leadership for Local Government Excellence.
    The facilitator will train local government executives, administrators, council leaders, and key public officials on modern governance practices, leadership competencies, institutional reforms, and community-focused service delivery.

    The ideal facilitator must demonstrate deep understanding of:

    • Local government administration
    • Grassroots governance frameworks
    • Public sector leadership and reform
    • Community engagement and development planning

    Key Responsibilities
