    Business Analyst

    Department: Information Technology

    Summary

    • This role determines and documents business requirements and works with design & implementation staff to design & implement solutions within constraints.
    • The incumbent is individually accountable for achieving results through own efforts.
    • This role also provides ongoing guidance/supervision to the Business analyst as a mentor/coach.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide analytical support to developing the strategy and portfolio roadmap, providing insight into ARMP and external benchmarks and trends
    • Support developing the project management methodology that is applied across IT.
    • Define and establish business and end-user requirements for existing and new application systems
    • Research and analyze current and future trends that can be used to support the delivery of the IT strategy and ARMP business objectives
    • Review and probe gaps identified in the functional areas and evaluate opportunities for future improvements and enhancements.
    • Oversee the estimation process for the design estimates based on the requirements baselined
    • Review and finalize Functional Specification Document (FSD)
    • Lead FSD walkthrough session with stakeholders if required
    • Manage the development and validation of the functional specifications and clarify the same to development teams for creating technical specifications
    • Maintain knowledge of relevant solutions and support methods to provide functionally accurate solution to business users and project team
    • Identify the processes and information technology required to introduce recommendations

    Requirements

    • Minimum of First Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject such as Business Information Systems or Business Computing Systems
    • 3+ years’ experience in a supervisory position related to information technology
    • 6+ years’ experience in technology development, integration and deployment
    • Professional certifications such as Business Analysis Certification (e.g. CBAP, CCBA) and/or related will be preferred.

    Application Developer

    Department: Information Technology

    Summary

    • The Application Developer is responsible for translating business specifications and technical requirements into well-engineered, tested, and SDLC-compliant deployed application systems.
    • Providing application development, problem analysis, production support and providing technical and compliance support for enterprise initiatives.
    • Designing and developing technical specifications and code solutions in response to business or functional requirements.
    • Test custom enhancements in existing code, coordinate application of maintenance patches, and provide application support for production processing.
    • Draft and maintain system and user documentation for enhancements and system modifications including, end-user training materials and test plans.

    Responsibilities

    • Implement new business application software, capturing end user requirements and configuring, testing and integrating as necessary.
    • Implement new releases of existing business application software, capturing end user requirements and configuring, testing and integrating as necessary.
    • Design, create, test and document new and amended SQL, packages and programs from supplied specifications in accordance with agreed standards.
    • Develop, implement and report the findings of suitable test schedules to measure and improve the quality of ICT solutions being deployed, to ensure that new and amended systems, configurations, packages, or services, together with any interfaces, perform as specified.
    • Integrate and test components and/or subsystems and their interfaces in order to create operational services.
    • Work closely with team members and vendors to tune and troubleshoot applications
    • Develop bespoke application when required in-line with development policy.
    • Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
    • Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
    • Perform other related duties/special projects as assigned to support the IT business initiatives.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of First Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject
    • Entry Level or up to 3+ years’ experience in technology development
    • Must possess knowledge of and proficiency with object-oriented programming concepts, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, Ionic, Angular, Firebase, ReactJS, CSS, SQL, and XML
    • Experience with backlog grooming, sprint management and source control using tools such as Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) and Github.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Familiarity with MVC frameworks required with Laravel Framework preferred
    • Familiarity with Vue
    • Familiarity with Flutter.

    Head, Compliance

    Job Description

    • You will be responsible for leading the Compliance function in ensuring compliance with the business regulatory and statutory compliance requirements, as well as internal corporate governance guidelines and framework.
    • You will also coordinate and lead the compliance functions across the group.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring compliance with all extant regulatory directives, rules, circulars, as well as legislations, applicable to business, including working with various teams where such compliance activities are to be carried out teams other than the Compliance team.
    • Regulatory Scanning: Scanning the regulatory and operating environment for new regulatory developments, newly exposed rules and draft laws that will be applicable to the business, to ensure proactive dissemination to Management and incorporation into the compliance programme.
    • Regulatory Liaison: Responding to correspondences and inquiries from regulatory authorities, and government agencies, as well as proactively liaising with them to resolve all Compliance-related issues, and coordinating all regulatory supervisory examinations and review.
    • Rendition of Returns: Rendition of all periodic returns to SEC, NGX, NFIU and other applicable regulatory agencies.
    • Compliance Monitoring: Support the implementation, continuous improvement and monitoring of AML/CFT (Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Financing of Terrorism) programmes across the organizations, as well as compliance with all extant tax laws and statutory remittances.
    • Threat Assessment: Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk, as well as drive development and implementation of corrective action plans for the resolution of problematic issues.
    • Regulatory Approvals and Clearances: Processing of all regulatory approvals and notifications for employees, directors, products and all other applicable initiatives, and including clearances from applicable government agencies.
    • Exception Management: Provide support to the team by following up with relevant parties in resolving exceptions raised in Regulators’ audits.
    • Employees’ Training: Ensuring compliance with the mandatory annual AML/CFT training for all categories of employees, and coordinate all activities to achieve full compliance.
    • Compliance Coordination: Providing leadership over the compliance functions of ARM Securities Limited and ARM Trustees Limited, including coordinating all compliance activities across the two businesses.
    • Stakeholder Management: Proactively seek to build mutually beneficial and trusting relationships with both internal stakeholders (subsidiaries and shared service functions), and external stakeholders (i.e., regulators), with the aim of delivering operational impact.
