Mobile Application Developer at Leadremit Limited

Role Description

This is a full-time Mobile Application Developer role based in Lagos, structured as a hybrid position with a mix of on-site work and work-from-home flexibility. The Mobile Application Developer will design, build, and maintain mobile applications that support Leadremit’s payment and remittance solutions. Day-to-day tasks include writing clean and efficient code, implementing object-oriented programming principles, integrating APIs and payment gateways, and optimizing app performance and security. The role also involves collaborating with product managers, designers, and backend engineers, participating in code reviews, troubleshooting and debugging issues, and contributing to continuous improvement of the mobile development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Mobile Application Development, including experience building Mobile Applications and end-to-end Application Development.
• Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and patterns applied in mobile environments.
• Candidates should possess hands-on experience in iOS Development, using relevant frameworks, tools, and languages (such as Swift or Objective-C).
• Experience with Android development (e.g., Kotlin or Java) and cross-platform frameworks (e.g., Flutter, React Native) is beneficial.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, mobile security best practices, and performance optimization is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment, manage priorities, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
