    Design Architect Officer (Design Technical)

    Job Summary

    • The Senior Design Technical officer is primarily responsible for driving the design team which includes the Rover operations, Quality assurance team within the Technical Design Unit.
    • He is expected to collaborate with Head, Design Technical is in achieving the creation of concepts and designs that balance innovative and sustainable design with the relevant functional requirements from the business unit to the operation.
    • This is a hands-on role that is responsible for developing and maintaining a motivated staff and achieving design schedules.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Identify and generate new leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals.
    • Collaborate with Head of Design and supervise the Rover technical team to ensure they work in line with periodic schedules and drafted time scales for technical output with particular focus on the following areas:
    •       Generation of Production Drawings and Details.
    •      Generation of Installation Drawings and Details.
    •       Generation of Cut-lists and Bill of Materials.
    • To collate all Technical design documents input for technical drawing and cutting list.
    • To keep abreast of current architectural and design trends and continually aid the design/trend awareness of the team.
    • Ensure staff adherence to established SOP’s and business policies, especially on quality.
    • Interface with relevant units and departments on drawing and dimension related issues.
    • Work with other line managers to implement the company's policies and goals.
    • Ensure that health and safety guidelines are strictly followed.
    • Carry out any other responsibility as assigned by management

    Requirements

    • Bachelors in Architecture or a related field.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in architecture, interior design, or a related field, with a focus on wood, furniture, and interior design.
    • Proven experience in leading design teams and managing projects.
    • Excellent design skills, with a strong portfolio that showcases expertise in wood, furniture, and interior design.
    • Strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
    • Proficiency in design software, including Autodesk Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite

    Operations Manager

    Job Summary

    • The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational activities of the BENSÀLAMODE LTD, ensuring efficient workflow, excellent customer service, and timely delivery of products.
    • The role involves coordinating production processes, managing customer interactions, supervising staff activities, and maintaining accurate operational and financial records.

     Key Responsibilities

    Customer Service and Relationship Management:

    • Attend to customers upon arrival and ensure a professional and welcoming experience.
    • Take and document accurate notes during customer measurements and consultations.
    • Communicate effectively with customers to provide updates, receive feedback, and clarify requirements.
    • Notify customers promptly regarding order completion and delivery status.
    • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and follow-ups to ensure satisfaction and retention.

    Production and Workflow Coordination

    • Assign and distribute tailoring jobs efficiently to tailors based on workload and expertise.
    • Prepare and document measurements clearly for production use.
    • Monitor production timelines to ensure timely completion of all orders.
    • Track and manage delays in finished products, ensuring proper documentation and communication.
    • Collate and maintain weekly records of jobs completed by each tailor.
    • Engage, coordinate, and supervise external contractors and vendors as required to support operational needs. This includes, but is not limited to, specialized service providers such as carpenters, plumbers, electricians, technicians, and logistics partners. Ensure quality of work, adherence to timelines, and compliance with company standards.

    Logistics and Delivery Management

    • Coordinate dispatch activities and attend to dispatch riders upon arrival.
    • Oversee the packaging and delivery of finished products to customers.
    • Manage shipment of items through logistics providers such as DHL for out-of-town and international deliveries.
    • Ensure accurate delivery documentation and tracking.

    Inventory and Asset Control

    • Take custody of customers’ fabrics and ensure proper labeling, storage, and tracking.
    • Maintain accountability for all materials received and issued for production.
    • Ensure proper handling and safeguarding of company and customer assets. 

    Financial and Administrative Management

    • Manage petty cash disbursement for daily operational activities.
    • Maintain accurate records of all cash expenses, balances, and usage.
    • Provide periodic reports on cash utilization and operational expenses.

    Operations Monitoring and Reporting

    • Supervise and monitor daily business activities to ensure efficiency and compliance with company standards.
    • Identify operational challenges and recommend improvements.
    • Maintain proper documentation and reporting systems for operational activities

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in operations management, preferably within the fashion or retail industry.
    • Strong ability to supervise diverse teams and manage external vendors or contractors.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills for professional customer consultation and relationship management.
    • Knowledge of dispatch coordination and international shipping documentation.
    • Competency in managing petty cash and maintaining accurate financial documentation.
    • High attention to detail in record-keeping, from measurement notes to inventory tracking.
