About the role
The role holder will support the implementation of the Sustainable Entrepreneurship-Led Poultry Transformation Program (SEPTP) a Mastercard Foundation Funded Programme for Young Persons in Nigeria with a special focus on monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning (MEAL). He/she will assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of SEPTP’s MEAL programme providing effective and timely support (including capacity building) to programme participants and/or partner consortium organizations. The role holder is saddled with the responsibility to develop and lead a portfolio of learning interventions to strengthen the learning and evidencing the works of the consortium member staff and to embed a culture of high-quality monitoring and evaluation, evidence, and learning across SEPTP and Christian Aid’s programme/policy work, to maximize our impact for people living in poverty. The role will have a particular focus on ensuring that we are bringing Christian Aids evidence and learning to life through the way that it is used and applied in different contexts.
About you
The role holder must have at least 5 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation with a good understanding of international best practices in development effectiveness, at least 4 years of experience in programme MEL support for large multi-disciplinary programmes implementing large bilateral donors, including conceptualizing and technical writing with strategic thinking and high-level analytical skills, skills in quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis. He or she must have experience in creating databases for the entering, processing, cleaning, and extraction of data, experience in successfully working within a deadline-driven environment, excellent English communication skills (oral and written). The role holder should have interpersonal skills and cultural awareness, ability to work in a multicultural, inclusive, and equitable environment.
Desirable qualities of the role holder include knowledge and experience of MEAL and other participatory approaches, Knowledge and experience of statistics, experience of commissioning and managing consultants, familiarity with working in a consortium and the role of government/ private enterprise in development, ability to communicate (written and spoken) effectively in English language, good relationship management skills with the ability to work collaboratively as part of multidisciplinary and multicultural teams, strategic, analytical, problem-solving, and systems thinking capacity and skills, strong data collection and research skills and ability to interpret and analyze data, proactive, resourceful and results-oriented.

About the role
The Programme Associate role holder will be an integral part of the implementation of the Sustainable Entrepreneurship-Led Poultry Transformation Program (SEPTP) a Mastercard Foundation Funded Programme for Young Persons in Nigeria. The role holder will provide support to the planning, coordination, and implementation of the project, and will be the project’s team link to other sections or departments of the country programme.
About you
The role holder must have a minimum of a first degree in Livestock Management, Agriculture, Development Studies and Social Sciences or Business Management and other relevant courses with 1-3 years of experience working within the development/humanitarian sector and experience in handling administrative and stakeholder (internal & external) relations. He or she should have experience in working with programme management Tools – Microsoft Tools; and working knowledge of database software and applications, demonstrated competence to assess priorities and manage a variety of activities in a time-sensitive environment, and meet deadlines with attention to detail and quality, Proficiency in writing and editing letters, reports, and the document is required as well as strong communication skills (written & spoken) in the English language are required. Desirable qualities should be a good knowledge of Program Management within the NGO sector; Initiative and Innovation; teamwork; communication and learning.

About the role
The Senior Specialist Livestock Development will be an integral part of the Christian Nigeria Programme, providing necessary technical support across the various levels of the poultry value chain and the ecosystem in the implementation of sustainable entrepreneurship-Led Poultry Transformation Program (SEPTP); a Mastercard Foundation Funded Programme for Young Persons in Nigeria. The position holder will carry out project planning and coordination, specialized guidance, and technical support, monitor and evaluate the progress of the livestock-related projects, manage projects’ stakeholder communication and relations, ensure adherence and compliance to sector-related regulations; and provide comprehensive project updates/decisions and outcomes to the Senior Leadership Team of the country programme. The role holder will collaborate with the country team, consortium members, sub-partners and project participants
About you
The role holder must have a Master's Degree in Animal Science, Veterinary Science, Agriculture, Project Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus. He/she must have proven experience in livestock management with a strong understanding of animal health, nutrition, and breeding; experience in project management or working within a Project Management Office is highly desirable with strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. He or she should have excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders as well as proficiency in project management software and tools, as well as livestock management systems
About the role
The Senior Specialist Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) is a pivotal part of the Christian Aid Nigeria Programme, providing necessary technical support GESI priorities in Sustainable Entrepreneurship-Led Poultry Transformation Program (SEPTP) a Mastercard Foundation Funded Programme for Young Persons in Nigeria. The position holder will provide policy advice and technical support to the SEPTP project management team and support consortium partners to mainstream an inclusive gender culture and promote such gender standards across all areas of their work. The role holder will collaborate with the country team, consortium members, sub-partners, and project participants to implement innovatively and ensure that this is in line with Christian Aid’s country strategy.
About you
The role holder must have a Master’s in international development, gender studies, social sciences, or a field(s) related to gender and/or protection required, with a minimum of three years of relevant work experience with an international NGO, with at least one year of field-based programming experience. Additional experience may substitute for some education. He or she must have general knowledge of technical principles and concepts in gender, safeguarding and protection, and Knowledge of program design requirements and regulations of major donors – FCDO, USAID, etc., knowledge of project design and proposal development, Knowledge of the latest technological tools that have the potential to be applied in gender and protection and a Strong English writing skills.
About the role
The Community and Youth Engagement Officer (State Coordinator) is a pivotal part of the Christian Aid Nigeria Programme, providing necessary management and coordination of the Sustainable Entrepreneurship-Led Poultry Transformation Program (SEPTP) a Mastercard Foundation Funded Programme for Young Persons in Nigeria project at the state level. The role holder will collaboratively work with the Senior Specialist Livestock to operationalize CA Nigeria's youth engagement strategy at the state level. The state coordinator is responsible for the management and delivery of the project at the state level, coordination of the state project team, and representing the project at an institutional level, with the state Government and with other key stakeholders. The role holder will collaborate with the country team, consortium members, sub-partners, and project participants to implement innovatively, and ensure that this is in line with Christian Aid’s country strategy.
About you
The role holder must have a first-degree qualification in agriculture, project management, social science, development, or other relevant, a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant proven experience in project management and implementation with a strong understanding of youth development, and strong analytical skill sets, proven leadership experience in motivating and leading teams and solving, experience in planning, developing and managing donor-funded programmes, as well as cognate familiarity of complex project designs, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders, proficiency in project management software and tools, as well as livestock management systems, familiarity with State/Context.
