Job Description

• The inventory supervisor would be responsible for monitoring the productivity of staff and managing the adequacy of inventories at our production facility.
• This includes the inventory management of finished products and collaborating with distribution centre and processing of such items.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates the appropriate submission and processing of purchase requisitions and purchase orders applicable to inventory maintained
• Generates orders for supplies and maintains records and files of same
• Provides accurate, current inventory data for requesting decisions
• Posts inventory received dates in an automated system
• Maintains inventories at optimum levels to prevent under-or-over investment in inventory
• Supervises and coordinates the taking of periodic physical inventories
• Verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjusts errors in computation
• Prepares reports of inventory balance, shortages, as required
• Receives inventory shipments and inspects for quantity and quality
• Uses computer applications such as spreadsheets, word processing, calendar, e-mail and database software in performance of assigned duties.

Requirements

• Must be a graduate
• 1-2 Years’ experience in Inventory management
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with a production/manufacturing facility.
• Ability to work shifts.
• Skill in the use of Google Sheets.
• Must reside in Ibadan.

Salary
N75,000 / month.

Job Summary

• The ideal candidate will be responsible forthe company’s fleet and coordinate drivers, to ensure that all teams have a full complement of drivers at all times.
• Responsible for the overall accounting and planning, coordinating and managing the fleet, including related general administration. Ensure the implementation of the company fleet management and pool car usage.

Responsibilities

• Supervising vehicle repairs and servicing
• Scheduling regular maintenance on all fleets
• Ordering urgent or emergency repairs as needed
• Implement and track logistics needs from time to time
• Act as the contact person for mechanics
• Act as an intermediary between drivers and other employees.
• Vehicle licence, registration as well as renewals
• Routine inspection of fleets
• Intermediary between current and additional outsourced logistics personnel
• Monitor drivers to ensure adherence to schedules and proper driving practices.
• Ensure best practices by company drivers
• Send weekly report to Head of Admin on the health of the fleets and other related issues arising from the fleet monitoring system.
• Any other duties as directed.

Requirements

• Must be a graduate (B.Sc. or HND)
• Must have a minimum of 1 year similar work experience
• Basic maths and data analysis skills
• Understanding of basic vehicle mechanics, including the ability to identify when major repairs are needed.
• Must have excellent negotiating skills
• Must have excellent communication and people skills.
