    Human Resources Manager

    Role Description

    • The Human Resources Manager will oversee end-to-end HR operations to support a growing Edutech-focused workforce. This contract role, based in Kano, follows a hybrid model, combining on-site presence with some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing recruitment and onboarding processes, maintaining HR policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with local labor laws and internal standards.
    • The role will handle employee relations, performance management cycles, and disciplinary processes in a fair and transparent manner. The Human Resources Manager will also coordinate training and development initiatives, support leadership in workforce planning, and contribute to building an inclusive, engaging, and high-performance culture aligned with Conclase’s mission.

    Qualifications

    • Proven experience in core HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and HR policy implementation.
    • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices applicable in Nigeria, with the ability to ensure regulatory compliance.
    • Demonstrated skills in communication, conflict resolution, negotiation, and stakeholder management across all levels of the organization.
    • Ability to design and support training, learning, and development programs that build capabilities in a fast-paced, tech-oriented environment.
    • Proficiency with HRIS tools, basic data analysis, and reporting to support data-driven HR decisions.
    • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a hybrid work setting.
    • Experience in recruiting is a must
    • Experience working with or supporting tech or tech-enabled teams is a strong plus.

    Senior Application Security Engineer

    Role Description

    • The Senior Application Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust application security controls across Conclase’s products and client solutions. This full-time, on-site role based in Lagos will work closely with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to embed secure-by-design principles throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Daily responsibilities include performing threat modeling, secure code reviews, security testing
    • and application vulnerability assessments, as well as coordinating remediation efforts with development teams. The person in this role will define and maintain application security standards, guidelines, and best practices, and help automate security testing within CI/CD pipelines. Additional tasks include investigating security incidents, mentoring engineers on secure coding practices, collaborating with stakeholders to meet compliance requirements, and contributing to security architecture decisions for new and existing systems.

    Qualifications

    • Strong experience with application security fundamentals, including secure software design, threat modeling, and common vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10).
    • Proficiency in secure coding practices in one or more languages used in modern web or mobile applications (such as Java, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or similar).
    • Hands-on experience with application security testing tools, such as SAST, DAST, SCA, and interactive application security testing, and the ability to interpret and prioritize their findings.
    • Experience embedding security into CI/CD pipelines and collaborating closely with DevOps and engineering teams on automation and continuous security testing.
    • Knowledge of security testing and code review is a must.
    • Ability to test fixes that have been done on applications and provide status update.
    • Banking or fintech experience is a must.
    • minimum of 5 years experience.
    • Familiarity with cloud security concepts and platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP), including identity and access management, secrets management, and secure configuration.
    • Knowledge of relevant security frameworks and standards (for example, OWASP SAMM, NIST, ISO 27001, or PCI DSS) and how they apply to application security programs.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead security initiatives, influence technical decisions, and mentor other engineers and stakeholders on security best practices.

    Android Developer

    Role Description

    • This is a contract, on-site Android Developer role based in Ikeja. The Android Developer will design, build, and maintain high-quality Android applications, ensuring responsiveness, performance, and usability across a range of devices. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define requirements, implement features, and integrate APIs and third-party services. The role involves writing clean, testable code in accordance with best practices, performing code reviews, debugging and resolving issues, and optimizing applications for speed and scalability. The Android Developer will also contribute to architectural decisions, stay current with Android platform updates and industry trends, and participate in continuous improvement of development processes.

    Qualifications

    • Strong proficiency in Mobile Application Development and experience delivering production-grade Mobile Applications.
    • Hands-on experience with Android Development and Android Design, including UI/UX implementation following Material Design guidelines.
    • Solid background in Software Development, including object-oriented programming, design patterns, and version control (e.g., Git).
    • Proficiency with Android SDK, Kotlin, RESTful APIs, and common libraries/frameworks (e.g., Jetpack components).
    • Experience with testing and debugging tools, performance optimization, and publishing apps to the Google Play Store.
    • Ability to work on-site in Ikeja, collaborate within cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
    • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and secure coding practices is an advantage.
