    Human Resources / Legal Officer

    Responsibilities

    • Preparing job descriptions, advertising vacant positions, and managing the employment process.
    • Orientating new employees and training existing employees.
    • Provide legal guidance on HR policies, procedures, and compliance.
    • Manage and resolve employment litigation and disputes.
    • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations.
    • Oversee internal investigations related to HR issues.
    • Develop and implement HR-related legal strategies and initiatives.
    • Collaborate with the Human Resource Departmentand management on employee relations matters.
    • Draft and review employment contracts and other legal documents with keen focus on legal precision, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
    • Conduct training sessions on legal aspects of HR for staff members.
    • Oversee Drafting, Review, and Negotiations when necessary.

    Requirements

    • A Bachelor's Degree in Law and must have been called to the Bar.
    • Must have at least 2 (two) years ofcombined experience in HR and legal roles.
    • Excellent knowledge of employment legislation.
    • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong analytical and research skills.
    • Sound understanding of the HR functionand best practices.
    • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to work well within a team and individually.

    Accounting Officer

    Job Description

    • Process invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
    • Assist with the preparation and analysis of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
    • Maintain accurate and organized financial records, including journal entries, ledgers, and accounts receivable/payable.
    • Reconcile financial transactions, accounts, and discrepancies to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
    • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations, adjustments, and accruals.
    • Analyzing and reconciling procurement-related financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
    • Preparing and maintaining detailed financial reports, budgets, and forecasts related to procurement activities.
    • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize procurement strategies.
    • Monitoring and evaluating supplier performance, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely payments.
    • Providing financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making in the procurement department.
    • Provide support and assistance to auditors, tax professionals, and regulatory agencies during audits and examinations.
    • Stay updated on accounting standards, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.

    Requirements

    • A minimum of a HND or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
    • At least 3 years proven experience in accounting, finance, or a related role.
    • Strong understanding of accounting principles, procedures, and regulations.
    • Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
    • Organizational and time management skills.
    • Communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Integrity and professionalism in handling confidential financial information.
    • Adaptability and willingness to learn and grow in the role.
