    HR (Human Resource) Personnel

    Job Purpose

    The HR Personnel is responsible for managing recruitment, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and HR administration across the organisation including our clients. The role ensures that all HR activities align with company policies, legal requirements, and organisational KPIs, while fostering a positive and productive work environment.

    DEAL BREAKER

    • MUST be willing to cover on-call duties at least two weeks in a month ranging from Monday to Sunday.
    • Must live locally not more than 5miles from the located branch (Oke-Aro Pig Farm Old Farm, Iju Ishaga Road, Lagos State) and transfers will occur across sites.
    • Must have good use of English to attend to our diverse clients.
    • Must be of good health and sound knowledge of Microsoft.

    Key Responsibilities

    Recruitment & Talent Acquisition internally and external

    • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes (job posting, screening, interviews, onboarding) 
    • Work with department heads to identify staffing needs 
    • Ensure timely hiring of qualified candidates 
    • Maintain talent pipelines 
    • Must cover on-call duties which is a weekly rolling rota

    Employee Onboarding & Offboarding

    • Coordinate onboarding programmes and documentation 
    • Ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the organisation 
    • Manage exit processes, including exit interviews and documentation 

    Employee Relations & Engagement

    • Act as the first point of contact for employee concerns 
    • Manage grievances, disciplinary processes, and conflict resolution 
    • Promote employee engagement initiatives and wellbeing programmes 

    HR Compliance & Policy Management

    • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies 
    • Maintain accurate employee records and documentation 
    • Update HR policies in line with regulatory changes 

    Performance Management

    • Support implementation of KPI frameworks and appraisals 
    • Coordinate performance reviews and probation assessments 
    • Work with managers to address underperformance 

    Training & Development

    • Identify training needs across departments 
    • Coordinate staff training programmes and development plans 
    • Monitor training effectiveness 

    HR Administration & Payroll Support

    • Maintain HR systems and employee databases 
    • Support payroll processing with accurate employee data 
    • Manage leave records, attendance, and benefits administration 

    Organisational Development & Culture

    • Support company culture initiatives 
    • Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion practices 
    • Assist in organisational restructuring where required 

    Qualifications & Requirements

    Education

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field 
    • M.sc (preferred) 

    Experience

    • Minimum 2 years HR experience 
    • Experience in a multi-department or multi-site organisation preferred 
    • Experience handling employee relations and recruitment 

    Skills & Competencies

    Technical Skills

    • Knowledge of multiple Countries employment law, specific - Nigeria and United Kingdom
    • Experience with HR software systems 
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
