    HR / Admin Assistant

    Job Description

    • Ensuring office supplies are maintained, including taking of inventory and working with vendors to ensure adequate levels of necessary supplies at all times.
    • Ensuring the confidentiality and security of files and filing systems.
    • Making travel arrangements, logistics and booking of hotel accommodation for staff and clients as requested
    • Ensure functionality of necessary office equipment, and requisitioning new equipment and supplies as needed.
    • Scheduling meetings and booking conference rooms.
    • Assisting the HR department with job postings and interviews.
    • Purchasing office supplies, equipment and furniture.
    • Overseeing the maintenance of office facilities, and equipment.
    • Support onboarding,monitor staff attendance, leave records, and performance documentation.
    • Answer queries by employees and clients
    • Prepare HR documents, maintain and update employee records
    • Attend meetings and prepare of minutes of meetings
    • Managing the company email channel.
    • Other duties as assigned by the Managing Director.

    Requirements & Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
    • 1–3 years experience in HR / Admin or similar role.
    • Knowledge of HR processes and basic labor laws.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

    Research and Proposal Officer

    Job Summary

    • The Research and Proposal Officer is responsible for identifying funding opportunities, conducting research, and developing high-quality proposals to support organizational growth.
    • The role involves gathering data, analyzing trends, and producing compelling proposals, reports, and documentation to secure grants, partnerships, and business opportunities.

    Key Responsibilities
    Research & Analysis:

    • Conduct market, sector, and donor research to identify funding and partnership opportunities.
    • Analyze data and trends to support proposal development and strategic decisions
    • Maintain an up-to-date database of prospects, donors, and funding sources

    Proposal Development:

    • Prepare, write, and submit high-quality proposals, grant applications, and concept notes
    • Collaborate with internal teams to gather relevant information for proposals
    • Ensure proposals align with organizational goals and donor requirements
    • Develop budgets and supporting documents for submissions

    Documentation & Reporting:

    • Track proposal submissions, deadlines, and outcomes
    • Prepare reports, briefs, and presentations for management
    • Maintain organized records of all research and proposal activities

    Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Liaise with partners, donors, and stakeholders as required
    • Support relationship management with funding organizations

    Monitoring and evaluation:

    • Oversee that we achieve impact.

    Key Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Social Sciences, Communications, or a related field
    • A Master’s degree is an added advantage
    • Experience: 2–5 years experience in research, proposal writing, grant writing, or business development.
    • Proven track record of successful proposal submissions is a plus

    Skills & Competencies:

    • Strong research and analytical skills
    • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
    • Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Budgeting and financial analysis skills

    Graphics Designer

    Job Summary

    • The Graphics Designer will be responsible for creating compelling visual content that aligns with Women Radio 91.7’s brand identity and enhances its communication across traditional and digital platforms.
    • The role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to translate ideas into visually appealing designs that support programming, marketing, and social impact campaigns.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop creative designs for on-air and off-air campaigns, including show logos, event posters, banners, flyers, and digital content.
    • Design social media graphics, infographics, motion graphics, and other visuals to enhance online engagement.
    • Collaborate with the programmes and project team to produce visuals that complement storytelling and broadcast themes.
    • Maintain and update the station’s brand assets, ensuring consistency in colour, typography, and visual identity.
    • Create layouts and design concepts for presentations, reports, and promotional materials.
    • Edit photos and videos for social media and marketing use.
    • Support the marketing and communications team in creating visuals for advertising, sponsorship decks, and community campaigns.
    • Manage multiple design projects and deliver high-quality outputs within deadlines.

    Qualifications & Skills

    • Bachelor’s Degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Media, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a graphics designer, preferably in media, advertising, or communications.
    • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDRAW, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Canva.
    • Basic video editing and motion graphics skills are an advantage.
    • Knowledge of social media trends and digital content design best practices.
    • Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and ability to work under pressure.
