    House-Keeper / Cleaner

    Responsibilities

    • Carry out the general sweeping, scrubbing and mopping of floors
    • Dust and clean all surface areas, counter surfaces, windows, glass surfaces, mirrors furniture, room & house accessories and appliances
    • Dispose trash from bins and containers in all rooms and spaces of the facility Scrub sinks, basins and toilets in the private and public spaces of the facility
    • Ensure the safe storage, maintenance and replacements of all cleaning products and supplies Keep all public and private spaces within the facility neat, clean and tidy at all times
    • Report the need for necessary repairs or replacements when encountered on the job

    Qualifications & Required Experience

    • Minimum of SSCE Certificate
    • Proven working experience as a cleaner
    • General knowledge of cleaning products, chemicals, techniques and supplies
    • Experience working on weekends and occasional holidays

    Chef

    Responsibilities

    • Acts with caution within the kitchen where there are knives and high-temperature surfaces
    • Ensure adequate inventory of all foods, ingredients and kitchen supplies; makes sure they are fresh and suitable for preparation of dishes
    • Develops & plans menus and recipes and ensures uniform serving sizes and quality of meals/dishes presented
    • Inspects kitchen equipment and work areas for cleanliness and functionality
    • Monitor and implement sanitation practices and follows kitchen safety standards
    • Keep up with trends in cooking techniques and food recipes

    Qualifications & Required Experience

    • Minimum of first degree in any relevant subject or discipline
    • Formal training or degree from a culinary school (will be an added advantage)
    • Proven creativity in menu planning and recipe creation
    • Proven years of experience working in a restaurant or hotel as a line cook or chef.
