    Head of Public Sector Partnerships – Northern Region

    Job Purpose:

    • To lead the acquisition and execution of public-sector mandates across the Northern Region by securing high-value government partnerships, driving transaction and revenue growth, and enabling adoption of the company’s products and services across MDAs, state governments, LGAs, and government-owned enterprises.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Identify, initiate, and secure public-sector mandates across ministries, departments, agencies (MDAs), state governments, LGAs, and government-owned entities.
    • Drive revenue and transaction growth from public-sector use cases including collections, levies, payroll, wallet disbursements, financing programs, and digital automation.
    • Build and manage a strong government mandate pipeline with high conversion rates and timely activation.
    • Expand government adoption of company platforms and subsidiaries (Kolomoni, Ercas, Regius).
    • Lead senior stakeholder engagement with commissioners, permanent secretaries, directors, revenue officers, and LGA leadership.
    • Ensure full compliance with KYC/KYB, AML/CFT, NFIU, and applicable regulatory requirements.
    • Oversee governance documentation including MoUs, SLAs, service agreements, and onboarding packs.
    • Provide accurate mandate pipeline reports, transaction forecasts, and performance updates.
    • Collaborate with Product, Technology, Operations, BRIC, Risk, and Finance teams to deliver mandates end-to-end.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
    • 8–12 years of experience in public-sector partnerships, government relations, enterprise sales, or mandate-driven business development.
    • 4–6 years in a senior leadership or head-of-function role managing government or institutional partnerships.
    • Proven track record of securing high-value public-sector mandates and driving transaction-based revenue.
    • Strong understanding of government structures, procurement processes, and regulatory environments in Nigeria.
    • Experience within fintech, payments, digital government solutions, or large-scale platforms is highly desirable.

    Job Purpose:

    To lead enterprise mandate acquisition, private-sector partnerships, and ecosystem expansion across the Northern Region. The role is responsible for driving revenue growth, scaling transaction volumes, and building strategic enterprise relationships through a mandate-driven, performance-focused approach.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Head of Merchant Digital Sales

    Role Description

    • This is a full-time on-site position located in Ibadan for the Head of Merchant Digital Sales. The primary responsibilities include leading and managing the merchant sales team tachieve sales targets and revenue growth. The role requires developing effective digital sales strategies, overseeing the acquisition and retention of merchants, analyzing sales performance, and ensuring the delivery of excellent customer service. Additional responsibilities include identifying industry trends, fostering strong client relationships, and collaborating with other teams tdrive business development.

    Key Responsibilities

    Merchant Growth & Usage

    • Drive adoption of the storefront among targeted merchant segments.
    • Ensure merchants actively transact, not just onboard.
    • Reduce dormant accounts and increase transaction frequency.

    BRM-Led Sales Execution

    • Integrate storefront sales intthe BRM (Business Relationship Manager) process.
    • Train and guide BRMs on merchant selection, pitching, and activation.
    • Design incentives linked tstorefront usage and sales volume.

    Revenue & Transaction Growth

    • Own and grow total transaction value (GMV) through storefronts.
    • Increase digital collections and settlement balances.
    • Ensure merchants inflow land directly intbank accounts.

    Credit & Lending Impact

    • Work with Risk and Lending teams tuse storefront data for credit decisions.
    • Improve loan eligibility, approval rates, and repeat borrowing.
    • Reduce delinquency among storefront merchants.

    Product & Execution Oversight

    • Act as business owner of the storefront.
    • Decide product priorities and prevent unnecessary features.
    • Ensure timely execution and scale decisions.

    Key Skills & Competencies

    • Strong knowledge of fleet management systems and vehicle tracking technologies.
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
    • Understanding of transport regulations, compliance standards, and safety protocols.
    • Familiarity with budgeting and cost control in fleet operations.
    • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Ability to lead and train teams effectively.
    • Valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel or work flexible hours when required.
