    Head of Marketing

    Responsibilities

    • Provide strategic and marketing plans to enable the attainment of Good Neighbours Revenue and profitability goals.
    • Hire, train, manage and motivate a team of efficient Sales Executive to help drive and achieve the business objectives.
    • Drive the growth of Good Neighbours products through exceptional management of existing partnership relationships and signing up new customers.
    • Ensure consistent growth of the Bank’s risk assets and liabilities in line withdefined targets.
    • Creating and developing new innovative ways to communicate Good Neighbours service to existing and prospective customers.
    • Ensure that long-term customer relationship is maintained so as to achieve the goals of the company.
    • Conduct direct marketing of the Company’s products and services to help maximize revenue.
    • Lead the team to consistently exceed customer’s service expectation and provide prompt response to customer enquiries on products or existing account queries.
    • Maintain and develop new customers account, and liaise with operations team to onboard the Customers.
    • Define, measure, monitor and report on Sales teamKPI and metrics on a weekly and monthly basis and suggest improvements on an ongoing basis.
    • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, monthly and annual territory analysis.
    • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products etc.
    • To study the market conditions, competitions, identify gaps within the market and the substitutes coming into the market.
    • To organize activities relating to sales and marketing promotions that will help increase awareness and generate new business.
    • Contributing to the annual sales and business development plan.

    Qualification and Experience

    • HND/BSC in Marketing/Finance/Communication from a reputable University.
    • Minimum of 5 years banking experience with at least 2 years in a senior management role in a Microfinance Bank.
    • A postgraduate degree is an added advantage.
    • Marketing, Team Management, Sales & Business Dev. Experience in Financial Services.

    Knowledge:

    • Knowledge of marketing, sourcing new clients for quality risk assets, and mobilization of deposits.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of Microfinance banking products, marketing and business development.
    • Sound knowledge of Micro-finance services, procedures, laws and regulations.
    • Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF) acts.
    • Strong stakeholder management and teamwork.
    • Experience in developing business and sales strategies.
    • Knowledge of relationship building and customer management.

    Skills:

    • Exceptional Partnership relationship management skills.

    Head of Finance

    Job Description

    • Good Neighbours Microfinance Bank is seeking an experienced Head of Financeto join our team in Ikeja.
    • As the Head of Finance, you will play a pivotal role byshaping the financial stability of the organization,overseeing and managing the financial control function,treasury management, accounting, budgeting, performance analysis, and financial reporting functions.
    • The successful individual will proactively identify issues, opportunities, and solutions to ensure effective budgeting, assist in strategic planning and forecasting, and sustainability while ensuring the accurate capture and timely reporting of all financial activities.

    Responsibilities

    • Full responsibility for budget development, planning & reporting, andliquidity management.
    • Develop and implement the financial strategy of the organization in alignment with business objectives.
    • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
    • Develop financial policies and procedures for operational efficiency.
    • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement and provide insightful recommendations to senior management.
    • Develop and maintain financial statements for future reference.
    • Monitor and manage expenses within the established budget.
    • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.
    • Preparation and submission of CBN and NDIC monthly rendition Returns
    • Remittance of statutory deductions on monthly basis, such as PAYE, WHT, VAT etc.
    • Possess and apply advanced knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
    • Preparation and presentation of the Monthly Performance Review (MPR) report and chief driver of the meeting.
    • Communicate financial performance and forecasts; assist in the preparation and review of all monthly and quarterly reports for Board, Shareholders, Regulatory bodies,etc.
    • Preparation of the overall annual budget of the bank, including the assumptions and the ratios.
    • Work with internal and external auditors to facilitate smooth and efficient audit processes.
    • Review and approve all reconciliation and schedules, such as bank statements, schedule of accrued charges etc.
    • Recommend cost-reducing solutions

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 5 years of financial and control experience, with at least 3 years in a senior managementposition.
    • HND or Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) is an added advantage
    • In-depth understanding of cash flow management, bank reconciliation, and bookkeeping.
    • Strong knowledge of microfinance industry regulations and financial reporting standards, with experience in creating financial statements and general ledger functions.
    • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Demonstrates excellent understanding of financials as well as advanced business finance and performance analysis.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to communicate complex financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
    • Proficiency in accounting software, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint,and MS Word.
    • Good knowledge of IFRS
