    Head of Compliance - Governance, Risk & Regulatory Affairs

    Job Summary

    • We are looking for a Head of Compliance to lead our compliance function, ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, and embed a strong culture of corporate governance and risk management.
    • This is a high-impact role ideal for professionals with a solid background in compliance, policy development, and internal controls.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop, implement, and maintain the organisation’s compliance framework, policies, and procedures.
    • Monitor regulatory developments and ensure timely incorporation into company operations.
    • Lead internal compliance audits and risk assessments, identifying gaps and recommending corrective actions.
    • Ensure compliance with all applicable local, national, and industry-specific laws and regulations.
    • Act as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies and external auditors.
    • Establish internal controls and conduct training to promote ethical behaviour and regulatory awareness.
    • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure company-wide compliance with standards and protocols.
    • Investigate compliance breaches and oversee the implementation of disciplinary or corrective actions.
    • Prepare and present compliance reports to senior leadership and board committees.
    • Develop a compliance calendar and oversee periodic reviews and documentation.
    • Promote a culture of transparency, accountability, and ethical conduct across the organisation.
    • Lead the compliance team and support their professional development and performance.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 7 years relevant experience and 4 years in supervisory position
    • Thorough understanding of regulatory requirements, corporate governance standards, and industry best practices.
    • Proven experience in designing and implementing compliance frameworks and internal controls.
    • Strong leadership and decision-making skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
    • Exceptional communication skills; written and verbal, including the ability to present to executive leadership.
    • Certifications such as CAMS, CCEP, or similar (preferred).

    Electrical Design Engineer – Power Systems & Control Panels

    Job Summary

    • We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join our engineering team and take the lead in designing, developing, and optimising electrical systems for power distribution and control applications.
    • This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with deep technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and a desire to make a tangible impact on industrial and commercial projects.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Design detailed electrical systems, schematics, and layouts for low and medium voltage power distribution and control systems.
    • Perform engineering calculations to determine system specifications and load requirements.
    • Develop and validate prototypes, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and compliance with relevant standards.
    • Conduct simulations and analyze test data to improve design efficiency and quality.
    • Oversee testing and verification of electrical systems before deployment.
    • Ensure system safety through risk assessments and integration of safety measures.
    • Prepare documentation such as drawings, specifications, test procedures, and engineering reports.
    • Maintain organised and up-to-date design files and records.
    • Ensure compliance with company standards, NEC, IEC, and other industry codes.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Mechanical Design, Production, Quality, and Project Management.
    • Engage with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical updates.
    • Participate in design reviews and technical evaluations.
    • Improve internal design processes for better efficiency and scalability.
    • Mentor junior engineers and interns.
    • Stay current with new technologies and regulatory changes in the electrical design field.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree (B.Eng) in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
    • Minimum of 4 years experience in electrical design engineering (industrial or commercial systems preferred).
    • Proficiency in BricsCAD (mandatory); experience with AutoCAD, EPLAN, or ETAP is a plus.
    • Strong knowledge of electrical system design, power distribution, circuit theory, and control panel development.
    • Experience in cable sizing, protection schemes, and grounding systems.
    • Ability to interpret electrical codes, standards, and technical documentation.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
    • Strong communication skills — able to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
    • Collaborative team player with leadership capabilities.
    • Proactive in process improvement and adoption of modern design tools.
