    Head, Business Development Manager

    Roles and Responsibilities
    Strategy Development:

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with the company's overall objectives.
    • Identify new market opportunities and potential client segments for both security service solutions and cash-in-transit services.
    • Analyze industry trends and competitive landscapes to formulate effective market penetration strategies.

    New Business Acquisition:

    • Lead the business development team in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
    • Engage with potential clients, conduct presentations, and negotiate contracts to secure new accounts.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.

    Market Research and Analysis:

    • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitive intelligence.
    • Analyze customer feedback and market data to continuously improve service offerings and stay ahead of competitors.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with the Operations, HR, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure seamless execution of new contracts and client satisfaction.
    • Work closely with the Operations team to integrate business development strategies into operational processes.

    Key Account Management:

    • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, acting as their primary point of contact.
    • Regularly engage with key accounts to understand their evolving needs and address any concerns promptly.

    Team Leadership:

    • Lead, motivate, and mentor the business development team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
    • Set clear performance targets, conduct regular performance reviews, and support professional development initiatives.

    Proposal Development:

    • Oversee the development of high-quality and persuasive proposals for new business opportunities.
    • Ensure that proposals align with client requirements and showcase the company's unique value propositions.

    Budget and Financial Analysis:

    • Prepare and manage the business development budget, tracking expenses and return on investment.
    • Provide regular reports on business development activities, performance, and outcomes.

    Qualifications and Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
    • Minimum of 7 years of Proven experience in a similar senior business development role within the security services industry or related sectors.
    • Strong understanding of the security management services industry in Nigeria.
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
    • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful business development strategies.
    • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Results-driven with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
    • Sound financial acumen and ability to analyze business data to inform decision-making.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications.

    Junior Legal Officer

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Provide advice on corporate legal issues and business matters.
    • Provide internal advisory services to the business units and departments within the Company.
    • Draft a legal agreements.
    • Provide commercial legal support to all departmental projects and job functions.
    • Ensure the development of service level agreements for service support and delivery.
    • Monitor the maintenance of the registers and other records required to be maintained by the Company under the Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA).
    • Provide all such other administrative and other secretarial duties as directed by the Legal Counsel & Company Secretary.
    • Files Company returns in accordance with the Companies and Allied Matters Act
    • Undertakes searches in land Registry
    • Lectures security trainees on basic requirements of law with regards to private security guards
    • Analyse and review legal agreements, legislation and documents for the Board.
    • Ensure (internal & external) compliance with laid down guidelines, policies and procedures; investigate issues of non-compliance as may be required.
    • Review and advice management on legal implications of internal policies and procedures.
    • Review and draft contracts, agreements and internal policies and ensure that they are in compliance with all statutory or legal requirements.
    • Any other duties as may be assigned.

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification with at least 2 years work experience.
