    Manager- Engineering/Maintenance

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Analyzing equipment failure trends and identifying areas for improvement.
    • Develop long-term strategies to enhance equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
    • Leading and driving cross-functional teams to implement lean practices and continuous improvement projects.
    • Evaluating and adopting new technologies and methodologies to enhance maintenance efficiency.
    • Establishing goals and targets to drive continuous improvement in equipment uptime, maintenance costs, and other critical metrics.
    • Maintenance of Blister, Sealing, Filling & Mixing, and Batch Coding machines.
    • Planning and coordinating the maintenance activities to ensure effective and timely repairs.
    • Collaborating with production and operations teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimum disruption to production schedules.
    • Implementing predictive maintenance techniques and condition monitoring to optimize maintenance practices.
    • Conducting root cause analyses for equipment failures and implementing corrective and preventive measures.
    • Knowledge of generator maintenance
    • Determining optimal inventory levels to minimize downtime and costs while ensuring the availability of critical parts.
    • Establishing relationships with suppliers and negotiating contracts to procure spare parts efficiently.
    • Identifying cost-saving opportunities through efficient resource allocation, vendor negotiations, and optimized maintenance practices

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field). Masters is an added advantage.
    • At least 10- 15 years’ experience in the Pharmaceutical or Food/Beverage industry.
    • Relevant certifications in maintenance management are advantageous.
    • Extensive experience in maintenance management in a production or manufacturing environment, with a solid understanding of production processes, equipment reliability, and maintenance strategies.
