    General Manager-Operations / Business Development

    Position Overview

    • We are seeking an accomplished General Manager, Operations & Business Development with a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in operations, business development, sales, and real estate investment.
    • The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader responsible for driving revenue growth, ensuring operational efficiency, and overseeing key business functions across the Group.
    • This role requires a dynamic professional with a proven ability to execute strategies that deliver measurable results.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Ensure the business development and sales targets of the Group are met monthly, driving consistent revenue performance across all business units.
    • Develop and implement operational strategies to drive new business development, sales inflow, and overall growth and profitability of the Group’s business interests.
    • Coordinate and drive the implementation of strategies necessary to achieve operational efficiency across all business units in Lagos.
    • Develop and execute investment strategies to drive growth and maximize returns for all subsidiaries within the Group.
    • Manage the Company’s fundraising activities and investor relations to syndicate capital for real estate investment projects.
    • Lead due diligence processes for potential investment opportunities and acquisitions.
    • Develop and implement risk management strategies to protect investor interests and safeguard company assets.
    • Oversee business development and sales activities, including marketing, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in real estate property sales.
    • Provide leadership and guidance to business development and operations staff to optimize performance and efficiency.
    • Improve existing operational policies and procedures to streamline processes and enhance productivity across the Group.
    • Provide oversight on construction projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

    Requirements

    • Master’s degree (MBA or MSc) in Business Administration, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field from a recognized institution.
    • Minimum of 10 years of progressive, verifiable experience in operations, business development, and sales within the real estate properties and investment industry.
    • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding business development and sales targets in a senior leadership capacity.
    • Demonstrated expertise in fundraising, investor relations, capital syndication, and leading due diligence processes for investment opportunities.
    • Strong understanding of the Nigerian real estate market, regulatory landscape, and industry standards.
    • Exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams effectively.

    Sales Team Lead

    Position Overview

    • We are seeking an experienced Sales Team Lead with a minimum of 5 years of proven success in real estate sales and business development.
    • The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, a deep understanding of the Abuja property market, and a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
    • This role will report to the Head of Sales and will be responsible for developing sales strategies, managing a high-performing team, and driving business growth across our real estate investment portfolio.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with the company’s overall goals, analyzing market trends, identifying target markets, setting sales targets, and establishing effective sales techniques and achieving sales targets.
    • Lead, manage, and motivate the sales team through recruitment, training, performance target setting, regular evaluations, and ongoing guidance to ensure achievement of sales goals.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by building and maintaining relationships with clients, real estate agencies, property developers, and other key stakeholders. Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to identify market needs and develop strategies to increase sales.
    • Oversee the lead generation process, lead qualification, and lead nurturing strategies. Maintain a robust database of leads, assign leads to the sales team, and monitor lead progress through the sales pipeline.
    • Accurately forecast sales targets, monitor progress, and regularly analyze sales data. Generate detailed reports for senior management to evaluate performance and support informed decision-making.
    • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring excellent customer service throughout the sales process. Address concerns, resolve issues, and foster long-term loyalty for repeat business and positive referrals.
    • Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments. Conduct market research to identify opportunities and refine sales strategies, keeping the company ahead in a competitive market.
    • Work closely with departments such as Marketing, Business Development, Construction, Finance, HR/Administration, and Legal to align efforts and support sales initiatives. Ensure coordinated execution of projects and adherence to legal and financial requirements.
    • Continuously enhance personal knowledge of industry trends, sales techniques, and legal regulations by attending workshops, conferences, and training programs to maintain a competitive edge.
    • Track team performance against KPIs, implement corrective actions when needed, and manage the sales pipeline to ensure consistent conversion and revenue generation.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Real Estate, Sales, or a related field.
    • A Master’s degree is an added advantage.
    • Minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience in sales and business development within the real estate properties and investment sector.
    • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.
    • Demonstrated experience in leading, managing, and motivating a sales team to achieve outstanding results.
    • In-depth knowledge of the Abuja real estate market, including key locations, pricing trends, and investment opportunities.
    • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    •  Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales analytics tools.

    Chief Operating Officer (COO)

    Position Overview

    • We are seeking an accomplished Chief Operating Officer (COO) with a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience across real estate, investment, finance, construction, fintech, administration, banking, and regulatory compliance.
    • The ideal candidate will be a strategic executor responsible for translating the Group's vision into operational reality, driving business growth, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve ambitious targets.
    • This role is pivotal in positioning DreamCity Group as a market leader across all its business verticals.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Ensure the business growth targets of the Group are met in line with the Board's directives, driving consistent performance across all business units.
    • Develop and implement operational strategies to drive new business development, sales inflow, and overall growth and profitability of the Company's business interests.
    • Coordinate and drive the implementation of strategies necessary for mass adoption of the DreamCity Capital web app, attaining the Company's initial goal of 1,000,000 active users.
    • Develop and execute investment strategies to drive growth and maximize returns for Group's investors.
    • Manage the Company's fundraising activities and investor relations to syndicate capital for real estate investment projects.
    • Lead due diligence processes for potential investment opportunities and acquisitions, ensuring thorough evaluation and risk assessment.
    • Develop and implement risk management strategies to protect investor interests and safeguard Company assets.
    • Oversee administrative, sales, marketing, and project management activities, including budgeting, scheduling, quality control measures, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in real estate development projects.
    • Provide leadership and guidance to operational staff to optimize performance, efficiency, and professional development.
    • Improve existing operational policies and procedures to streamline processes, eliminate inefficiencies, and enhance productivity across the Group.
    • Report regularly to the MDand Board of Directors on operational performance, strategic progress, and key performance indicators.

    Requirements

    • Master's Degree (MBA or MSc) in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related field from a recognized institution.
    • Professional certifications such as CFA, CIS, PMP, COREN, or ICAN are highly desirable.
    • Minimum of 10 years progressive, verifiable senior leadership experience, with demonstrated expertise across real estate, investment, finance, construction, fintech, administration, banking, and regulatory compliance.
    • Proven track record of successfully driving business growth, achieving operational targets, and leading cross-functional teams in a complex, multi-sector environment.Experience in digital transformation and scaling technology platforms is a strong advantage.
    • Demonstrated experience in managing fundraising activities, investor relations, capital syndication, and leading due diligence processes for major investments and acquisitions.Established network within the Nigerian investment, banking, and real estate communities.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of Nigerian regulatory frameworks across real estate, banking, fintech, and investment sectors, with proven ability to navigate compliance requirements.
    • Exceptional leadership, strategic planning, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with the Board, investors, regulators, and internal stakeholders.
    • Must be based in Lagos, with flexibility to work extended hours and travel as required by business demands.
