    Senior Credit Analyst - SME Loans

    Job Description

    • We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Credit Analyst to lead the assessment and evaluation of credit applications for SME loans. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting in-depth credit analysis, assessing risk, and making sound recommendations to support the company’s lending decisions. This role requires strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and a deep understanding of SME business operations and financial statements.

    Requirements

    Financial Statement Analysis:

    • Analyze financial statements, credit reports and other relevant data to assess the creditworthiness of SME clients.
    • Ascertain the Profitability, Liquidity, and Leverage ratio of the business to determine repayment capacity.
    • Recommend eligible loan amounts for approval

    Credit Risk assessment:

    • Evaluate credit risk associated with SME loan request and provide recommendations on credit limits, terms and condition.
    • Evaluate economic, socio political and regulatory factors that may affect the continuity or operations of the SME client.

    Collateral Recommendation:

    • Recommend appropriate collateral mix acceptable by the bank to act as a buffer in the event of loan default
    • Ensure assets to be pledged as collateral are adequately valued by the Bank’s accredited valuers.
    • Ensure the value of the asset to be pledged as collateral meets the Bank’s stipulated collateral coverage.

    Loan Interview

    • Communicate with clients to gather financial information, clarify credit report discrepancies and provide credit decisions.
    • Visit the client’s business premises for advanced due diligence depending on the loan amount or threshold set by the bank.
    • Loan performance Review and Reporting
    • Review the performance of SME portfolio on a monthly basis
    • Generate a report to Management showing the collection efficiency rate of SME loans processed monthly.

    EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

    • BSC/HND
    • CIBN/ MCP is an added advantage​

    Project Manager

    Job Description

    • The Project Manager monitors the entire project management life cycle by developing plans and schedules, estimating resource requirements, defining milestones and deliverables, monitoring activities, evaluating and reporting accomplishments

    Requirements

    Strategic

    • Recommend new techniques and technologies to achieve business goals
    • Determine business roadmap and provide support in future business planning
    • Develop action plans to overcome business challenges
    • Recommend business improvements based on market and competitive trends
    • Perform project management and reporting for assigned projects
    • Build positive and trustful working relationships with internal/external custom-ers
    • Maintain clear and complete knowledge in program management, business operations and procedures
    • Drive execution of strategic projects that align with the corporate goals of the bank

    Program Management

    • Lead the end to end planning, delivery and control of projects or programs of the Bank.
    • Manages all aspects of the project e.g. delivery, resource forecasts, project administration which includes financial and progress reporting.
    • Ensure alignment with defined reporting standards and procedures for project and portfolio management.
    • Develop strong relationships with all project stakeholders and prospective inter-nal clients.
    • Organize assigned progress meetings and steering committees with senior management to influence decision making.
    • Conduct risk analysis by proactively identifying and raising control deficiencies and driving diligent risk remediation for all projects within the Bank.
    • Monitor the progress of all projects against agreed and documented time and budget targets while ensuring appropriate quality standards are maintained.
    • Optimizing and improving processes and the overall approach

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • BSC/HND
    • Training in any of the following: Project management, Agile project delivery and business analysis. PMP certification will be an added advantage
