    Program Associate

    Responsibilities

    • Overseeing program implementation and compliance across partner facilities within Lagos State
    • Support the roll-out and adoption of digital health tools by facilities, ensuring proper setup, data entry, and operational efficiency.
    • Act as a liaison between the project team and healthcare providers, including PPMVs and CPs, to foster strong relationships and encourage program adoption.
    • Weekly review of project deliverables against targets and escalating envisaged shortfalls to the Program Manager
    • Lead in the piloting/implementation of different demand-generation initiatives in the State
    • Provide ongoing technical support and mentorship to facilities to ensure adherence to project protocols and quality standards
    • Collaborate with government health departments, local stakeholders, and community leaders to ensure alignment with State malaria policies and goals.
    • Coordinating partnerships with other organizations to promote new ways of increasing demand for the Malaria program in communities.
    • Collecting regular feedback from facilities, community, and clients on the Malaria program and iterating/refining insights to make them actionable and immediately useful for the clients and others in the global health space.
    • Monitor stock management at facilities, ensuring that inventory levels are accurately recorded and aligned with digital platform data.

    Qualifications

    • Degree in Public health, Pharmacy, Nursing, or Biological sciences
    • A minimum of 3 years of professional work experience in public health, project management, demand generation, and stakeholders/community engagements.
    • Demonstrated understanding, experience, and competency in working with community-based structures to improve patient's access to services, especially in Northern Nigeria.

    Partnerships & Onboarding Associate

    About the role

    • The Partnerships and Onboarding associate will be responsible for ensuring a smooth onboarding process for healthcare facilities and cultivating strategic partnerships to support Maisha Meds’ mission. This role bridges the gap between facility engagement, technology adoption, and partnership development, ensuring the successful implementation of Maisha Med’s solutions while building strong, mutually beneficial relationships with stakeholders.
    • This role is based in Kano, Nigeria with frequent travel within the country. You will report to Senior Partnerships & Onboarding Associate, will supervise onboarding contractors, and will work closely with other team members across partnerships, sales, and operations.

    The start date is 10th February 2024, and compensation is commensurate with experience.

    Responsibilities

    Facility Onboarding and Training

    • Oversee the onboarding process for facilities, ensuring proper training on Maisha Meds’ app features such as POS, Inventory management etc.
    • Provide hands-on support during the onboarding phase, including setup of devices and addressing technical concerns.
    • Educate facilities on program guidelines and performance expectations.

    Partnership Development:

    • Identify and engage with potential partners, including private healthcare providers, government entities, NGOs, etc.
    • Contribute to developing and negotiating partnership agreements and MOUs that align with Maisha Meds’ goals and objectives.
    • Represent Maisha Meds in external meetings, workshops, and conferences.

    Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing partners to ensure long-term collaboration.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for partners, addressing concerns and ensuring smooth communication.

    Facility Engagement and Onboarding:

    • Oversee the onboarding process for partner facilities, ensuring they are trained and well-versed in Maisha Meds’ technology and services.
    • Develop initiatives to improve facility engagement and enhance retention.

    Program Implementation:

    • Collaborate with internal teams to implement programs and initiatives agreed upon with partners.
    • Monitor the impact of partnerships and provide regular updates to stakeholders and internal teams.

    Data and Reporting:

    • Track and report key metrics related to partnership performance and engagement activities.
    • Use data to refine engagement strategies and improve the effectiveness of partnership programs.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Health, International Development, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus. 
    • 1+ years experience in partnerships, business development, or stakeholder engagement in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
    • Some experience in developing and maintaining partnership or client relationships, with a strong willingness to learn and grow in this area.
    • Experience working in or with the pharmaceutical or private healthcare sector in Africa is highly desirable.
