    Community Engagement Officer

    Overall, Job Purpose:

    • Gender-based violence (GBV) is a serious human rights and public health issue affecting women and girls around the world. It impacts all aspects of women and girl’s physical, emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It has harmful consequences for the individuals who experience it, their families, and their communities. The Community Engagement Officer will be based in Katsina state and with support from the Director Gender & Inclusion. He\she will work in coordination with the prevention and response teams to design strategies using EMAP and SASA Together! modules to prevent gender-based violence as well as take lead in engaging community leaders, community-based structures and local partners through training and awareness-raising sessions that are geared towards GBV prevention and response.

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    • 1-2 years’ experience
    • Must be resident in Katsina state
    • BA/Bsc/HND in Health or any related field
    • Excellent writing and oral communication skills
    • Multi-tasking skills.
    • Computer literacy skills, especially word processing and excel
    • Sensitive and caring but firm and decisive in managing staff.
    • Possesses the good nature and character to maneuver the changing environment

    Data and FAM Officer

    Overall, Job Purpose:

    • To carry out medical data collection and entry activities into the organization’s database recording all relevant clinical and demographic data on patients and ensuring data quality/reliability, according to Life Helpers Initiative procedures and maintaining confidentiality while producing the appropriate, updated documents for the medical team in order to support decision making processes.

    Qualifications:

    • Must be resident in Katsina state
    • 1-2 years’ experience
    • Must have cognate experience 
    • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in data management, computer science, Information technology, Health Informatics, Medical statistics/Statistics/Biostatistics, Data Science, or a related field. 
    • Excellent writing and oral communication skills
    • Multi-tasking skills, Adept in qualitative and quantitative data management, analysis and research.
    • Computer literacy skills, especially word processing and excel
    • Sensitive and caring but firm and decisive in managing staff.
    • Possesses the good nature and character to maneuver the changing environment

    Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Officer

    Overall, Job Purpose:

    • The Monitoring & Evaluation Officer supports the implementation of monitoring and evaluation activities within specific projects to ensure data-driven decision- making and program effectiveness.

    Qualifications:

    • Must be resident in Katsina state.
    • Bachelor’s degree/HND in Mathematics, Statistics, Social Sciences, or related fields; Master’s degree preferred.
    • Minimum of 2 - 5 years' experience in monitoring and evaluation with at least 3 years in a managerial role within an NGO setting.
    • Proficiency in statistical software such as Excel, SPSS, Stata, or EPIinfo.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
    • Proven ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and deliver high- quality work within deadlines.
    • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills with a commitment to staff development and capacity building.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
